Drinker with a Gym Problem

I need that t-shirt.

That is indeed a great ass. I do totally get your desire to lean out, but that is a choice you make between desirable and sexy body types.

What does your tat depict? This is the first time I’ve seen it – very cool.

gl with the HOT-ROX…are you not weighing in until the 2 week phase thing is over?

or maybe I missed it!

I’m kinda on a AD-esque diet right now!

Yes, I’m getting the same message. Probably the site’s registered security contract has expired or something of the sort? I’d wait to order if I were you. Can’t be too careful these days.

I am looking into this. So far I’m unable to reproduce. Our SSL certs have not expired, so this isn’t the case.

What exactly were you doing when you saw this?

I get the following message when I click “Log Out” from the top menu:

T’s log is now an IT site! Ha ha!

Hopefully the mods or IT staff can fix, T, so you can order your HOT-ROX. Dare I ask what “HOT-ROX” is?

Ay, caramba!

Click on the ‘T-muscle store’ link.

T, may I suggest gym locker room with their harsh fluorescent lighting.

I wouldn’t use the flash, you get strange shadows.

Just a thought.

Nothing wrong with our SSL certificates. You can verify this by clicking on the padlock within your browser while on our store page.

Not sure why IE is showing anyone this message, especially just upon Log Out.

(Sorry for the hijack; if anyone is still seeing this issue please post a new thread in Tech Support.)

are you wanting the harsh reality of those lights for a “true” progress starting pic? ;/ no locker room at my gym. only full length mirror with horrible lighting is tanning place.

MIM, i weigh myself regularly. actually, twice a day but mostly for fun. i don’t ‘trip’ on the scale but truthfully, i’m getting a little down about it. this is the 4th week of AD. i’m trying to drop the cals a bit this week to see if that’s what i need.

yes, measurements and clothes. i would think by now i’d see a little more fat loss. i always remind myself of my co-worker who i gave that Metabolic Surge program to. she lost ONE pound in 5 weeks, but TWO pant sizes. (6 to a 2)

like Cal has professed, i am soooooo resistant to lose fat. i’m not giving up on AD. might have to stick a couple low cal days in and get maybe 3 metabolic workouts in.

shit this sounds like a fucking FA thread. i gotta go lift some heavy shit…

thanks kimba -full back shot is in my hub. it’s several pieces with the phoenix surrounding them. phoenix covered up my first, a crappy scorpion. middle is a random tribal one. low back a celtic knot that of course meant something (someone) at the time. i should have close up of the other two on the sides that meet up. they have a lot of meaning and completely not random.

i’m kinda confused by what you were trying to say about between those two…

I was just pointing out that if you didn’t change a thing about your current body you would still be spicy hot. However, I absolutely respect a person’s vision for their own body transformation, and I understand your desire to be leaner.

i see, thanks kimba!

yesterday:
supposed to be MP 5/3/1 week 3. in a shitty mood and then showing up at 815, the gym was packed. rack was busy when i got there. decided to do extensive warm-up of the 2 x25 plate carrying routine up and down the stairs. unilateral leg stuff with 15 DBs. step ups with 15 DBs. did this for a bout 25 min.

rack still busy. decided to go ahead and hit something.
wide grip lat pull-downs: 5 x 15 75
narrow grip (v-bar) pull-downs 5 x 15 75

rack still busy!
tricep push-downs: 12 x 60, 15 x 50, 12 x50 then drop sets to failure.
rack still busy!
ran up and down the stairs with 2 x 25 plates. called it a night.

working too much again. beyond grateful for my job and the opportunity to make OT but it messes with my training. not so much the amount and hours of work, but the mental stress there beats me down. waaaaa

happy lifting everyone!

maybe you should invest in a barbell and some weights for your home?

I saw a set I almost splurged on the other day…$90 for a barbell and 100lbs worth of plates!

Hey Mod (sorry for the hijak T, i’ll get back to you in a bit) - I’m also getting this weird message when I log out. Very unnerving, especially since last week I received a PM from some random girl (I forwarded it to Mods Laurie and Pheonix) saying that she logged in and accidentally logged into my account! Can you please check in on this? Thanks.

And y’all - don’t mean to make you guys nervous or anything! Could just be my account.

Ok, back to you hot mama. yes! Can we please get these T-shirts!

I’m totally with you being overworked - but happy to be working  Its messing with my workouts too!

You’re better than me tho - great ad hoc workout!

How’s the AD holdinng up with the stressy work schedule? I find my diet starts faultering once I start getting stressed. Don’t be me.

hi MIM- i have a BB with some baby weights and my lil kettlebell. and a recumbent bike! it’s not so much getting to the gym after 13 hours of work, it’s just not having enough hours in the day and sometimes the mental stamina to get in there and lift. that sounds like a sweet deal for 100lbs! just means i have to KILL it on the days i do go!

masch- i posted a thread here. haven’t gone back after lfmatt’s original response. i didn’t get any of the messages yesterday. another message i was getting after sometimes posting and taking forever to load, was a “bad gateway server” message. big white page with that msg.

hi ya Masch! AD is fine. had a tiny break from it last night and wtf happens, the scale is down today. i swear i don’t live by that thing, i’m just intrigued by the fluctuations. and especially since it’s a BF/water/lean mass measuring scale. <<<It totally lies. says i’m at 17% haaaaa!

this weekend will be challenging. my road dawgs (best friends) that moved to AZ had to come out for family emergency and we will be visiting, they may stay with us. we used to consume vast amounts of booze together. at least her hubby and i just throw down with wine now. he is also a bit of a collector so i will be hitting a few of my good ones!

Hey mama. Actually, that makes sense that scale goes down - according to Lyle McDonald. Could this be the swoosh effect?

Drink up girl! you deserve it. You’ll be back on track come Monday.
