I am using the exercise to strengthen my quads and glutes
Are you using the same stance with this squat that you use when you deadlift?

I cannot squat like I deadlift due to my build, my deadlift stance is more narrow and feet not pointing out as much.
I feel like, for the sake of carryover, it would be beneficial to use a stance similar to what you pull with, if the goal is to improve how your quads function in the deadlift.
This is my Deadlift stance, I can only reach depth on squats that way If I stand with my heels on a plate. So I should do goblet squats with the heel elevated?
That, or weightlifting shoes would work.
My thoughts on “nofap” and how it has helped me.
I am still schizophrenic, autistic and bipolar but the way it has effected me in 2022 is:
Sure, it has become a joke online, but it is in every religious and spiritual book. It is ancient methods to improve yourself.
I gravitate towards Greasing the Groove style training because I like to train daily with only a few exercises.
So this is my new plan, I was already kind of doing it but now it’s my plan.
I am also no longer worried about bulking or cutting. I will just eat when I am hungry what my body tells me to eat.
Ever consider looking into Dan John’s Armor Building Formula? It would suit you well
I will check it out, I have been watching his videos actually
Oh so its just Clean for 2 reps, Press for 1 rep and Front Squat 3 reps
I will do that!
That’s the Armor Building COMPLEX, which is a great complex. The Armor Building FORMULA is the training plan he built around the Armor Building Complex (ABC) along with high rep dumbbell pressing. It’s done 3x a week, and is a program for hypertrophy.
@cyclonengineer ran it for a bit. It’s on my bucketlist of programs to run.
I did the kettlebell armor building complex today and I am now 80 kg with less fat.
I want to train now but I got a migraine at the moment so I am waiting for the migraine to go away to train again
Some training
I do this very frequent
I am aware that the clean technique is terrible, I am working on it
Ran it for a few weeks and liked the results. Got a lot stronger and I like the emphasis on overhead pressing over benching (probably my least favorite move).
Going to start it up again once it gets cool enough in my garage not to melt.
To add:
I like Dan John’s programs because many of them are centered around training density instead of volume. These kind of programs work well for both my schedule and how I like to train.
So far I have done Mass Made Simple, Armor Building Formula, and the 10K KB swing challenge. I believe you could run these three on repeat and be a beast for years, especially if you add in some rucking.
