Weight is creeping up. Trying not to sweat it. Will go back on keto next week. Have 3 days of family meals this week that I’m just gonna ride out the best I can.

Managed to lose weight over the last two days of family feasts. Now I just have Sunday’s upcoming junk food extravaganza to get through.

Officially hit 55.2 lbs lost since Jan 1. Decided I’m going to work my way down to about 185 before spending a few months focusing on regaining some of the muscle I’ve lost since August.

Have I already asked what your wife thinks about the changes?

And also, how is she doing?

My wife is pretty impressed with the changes. Maybe a bit insecure about it. She actually found out she’s diabetic in there, and they put her on ozempic too. She’s lost about 40 lbs.

She’s struggling emotionally right now worth the holidays. We both are. And today is our youngest monkey’s 12th birthday, so that just adds to it.

Yesterday was our annual junk food day, summer sausage/Ritz/Cheese, sausage balls (sausage, bisquik, cheddar), chile con queso, and lil’ wieners in bbq sauce. By bedtime, I had gained 7 lbs. Ended up gaining 4 overall. Totally worth it to me, emotionally. It’s just a tradition and it gave a sense of normalcy that’s been missing for a while now.

I will be peeing it out all day, probably. Gonna play basketball with my oldest tonight. That will help. Now I’m going to focus on getting down to 185, then spend the year working on adding back muscle I’ve lost losing so much weight since August.

I’m looking foward to it!

I’ve decided I’m going to try to drop down to about 185 before I cut the ozempic in half. Then the goal for the rest of the year is adding back the muscle I lost dropping so much weight so fast. The vast majority of the weight loss has been since August.
