My life is really fucking weird right now. I am currently unemployed and at home all day, so I’m planning to work in at least 7000 steps,100 pushups, 100 air squats, 5 planks to failure, and 5 flights of stairs a day.
Edit: Started Keto this morning. I have done well on it in the past when I stick to it.

No workout this morning, just posting for shame and accountability. Bad weekend. Drank tequila Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday nights. Led to some piss poor food choices and the realization that I am not going to be able to drink and reach my goals. Moderation just isn’t my strong suit. I plan to ride the Air Bike later today and get back to lifting tomorrow. Back on Keto today. Down only 1.8 for the week.

My suggestion… get it out of the house (assuming that’s where you drank it). I know if I’m looking at a bottle of something in my fridge or liquor cabinet I am 99.99% more likely to drink it. If it’s going out with people, politely decline. You decide what’s more important.

That’s what I did. To be honest, it makes me apprehensive when I don’t have alcohol in the house which I know is a very bad sign. But I’m tired of being fat and honestly I feel like crap most mornings after I’ve drank in addition to eating garbage when I do.

I’m doing dry January and had been fine and happy with it until my husband, who was out of town at the beginning of it all (major diet clean-up as well) said “are you going to have a glass of wine or something?” after we’d been out hiking in a snow storm Saturday afternoon.

And I was like !!! I don’t know! No! Maybe! Shit! I think I may have cracked if there’d been a bottle of white or rose in the fridge.

Instead I had a Hiyo, which is an “adaptogenic” NA seltzer. I’ve never actually felt the promised “float,” but it’s tasty and expensive, so.

Not recommending alcohol replacements, more just saying I feel ya.

I can understand what you are getting at and I have been on a mission to really reduce my alcohol intake as well as change my mentality towards it. I wanted to buy boose a few days ago, I got a unexpected tip from a client and I thought to myself I could go buy a nice bottle of whiskey with this…but instead I went to the supplements store and bought protein powder. Then I didn’t have enough tip money left to buy whiskey.
