Yeah. I know i shouldn’t weigh everyday, but I like to see the fluctuations. I use my Monday morning weight to gage how the week went.
9.30.24 weight: 213.8
A. Flat Bench DB Press 10/10/13
B. Cable Crossovers 4x10
C. Pushups 1xF
D. Machine Preacher Curl 3x8
E. Kneeling Cable Crunches 3x12
few reasons. The first is that I had a crappy weekend and overate (as much as that is possible on the ozempic). The second is that I like keto and I don’t really have to think about what I’m going to eat for the week. The third is that I have to order lunches for the office all week, and I know that if I’m not keto I will eat garbage all week for lunch. So I ended up gaining 2.2lbs during the week I was off of keto.
I would venture to guess that most of this is water weight. I’d take it as a win, and way to go getting right back on track this week and not making excuses!

Off Day. Have a court hearing today to see if the expert witness my in-laws have spent a shit ton of money on will actually be able to testify as an expert witness. Very key day in all of this custody stuff.

Below 210 AND down over 35 lbs. Plus court went really well yesterday. Probably a better outcome than I had been actually praying for.
Haven’t done back squats in a LONG time, so just did a bunch with the bar to try to work on some form. Plus, my shoulders weren’t really happy about being back there.

Breakfast is far and away my favorite meal, but I usually don’t eat it. At most, I’ve been having a shake. Yesterday I didn’t get the shake and ended up ordering steak and eggs from Grubhub. I gained 0.4lbs, but totally worth it mentally. My ass is sorer than I can remember it being. Not sure if it was just stretching it out with the light squats yesterday or what, but I’m hobbled.

Even though I overdid cheat day Saturday, still lost 3.8lbs last week. I’ll take it. Starting to add in more rest/pause and slow negatives at the end of things. Going a little heavier than I have been. Only got 4.5 hours sleep because of the rain delay in the Cowboys game last night, but still didn’t feel too bad this morning.
Yep, post squat @ss pain, gotta love it. Especially after a long layoff!

I’m working on going up on all my weights this week. So far so good. I definitely haven’t gotten any weaker over the last couple of months with the weight loss.

Off day from the gym. Got up and took a walk before taking my dogs out. They are too tiny and slow to consider walking them actual exercise. The air was almost nippy here in Houston this morning. Very pleasant.

Haven’t lost as much weight this week. That could be because I’m stopped up. Feel good in the gym though, and the mirror is making me happy. Especially when I come here and see that picture from the beginning of the year.
