So, sort of like a combination between a stair climber and an elliptical?

Yeah, basically I’m a rotten speller and I can’t spell elliptical!! Thanks for stopping by.
PS: Thanks Print. One of your less naughty photos…

Today’s workout:
15 min warm up on precor
Bench:
2 sets 65 lbs 8 reps
2 sets 85 lbs 8 reps
2 sets 95 lbs 6 reps
1 set 100 lbs 3 reps
1 set 105 lbs 3 reps
1 set 110 lbs 3 reps
1 set 110 lbs 5 reps!!! Woot!
Shoulder press:
2 sets 20 lbs each 8 reps
3 sets 22.5 lbs ea 6 reps
Lat pulldown:
1 set 70 lbs 8 reps
1 set 75 lbs 8 reps
3 set 80 lbs 6 reps
Bicep curl on cable:
1 set 40 lbs 8 reps
2 sets 50 lbs 8 reps
2 sets 60 lbs 6 reps
Notes: 30 min of precor after. I couldn’t believe that I want up on everything except for the lat pulldown. I thought I would be toast after!! I was on such a high the entire time but I’m starting to feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I guess those few days of rest really paid off. Even on the last set of bench, I still had the power to lift off by myself and needed a bit of help to get the last one up. [/quote]
Good job on bench. You should think about powerlifting. It’s a lot of fun.

So demanding!!
This morning’s workout:
15 min warm up and some bodyweight squats
Squat:
3 sets 65 lbs 8 reps
3 sets 75 lbs 8 reps
3 sets 85 lbs 6 reps
2 sets 65 lbs 8 reps
Military press:
4 sets 45 lbs 8 reps except for last set fail on 8
Leg extension:
3 sets 75 lbs 6 reps
3 sets 80 lbs 6 reps
Leg curl:
3 sets 55 lbs 8 reps
2 sets 60 lbs 6 reps

Notes: Today didn’t suck as much as I thought it would. I wasn’t up for the cardio but I did 30 min of precor because tomorrow is an off day. My chest is alittle sore from yesterday, hopefully I will get some decent sleep. On Tuesday I am going to practice deadlifting and good mornings. And my other missons for this week is to get new sneakers and study up on foam rolling.

You know it!! Now get back under there…
I’ve been bursting at the seams all weekend about my bench PR. Too bad in real life, nobody even knows what I am talking about.

If I get back under there, your seams won’t be the only thing bursting.

I know exactly what you mean. I have to tell people even if they have absolutely no interest. I really don’t care. I hit a deadlift PR last night!

Thanks! internet high five back to you. Do you have a log around these parts yet? What was your PR?
No log yet. It was 195.
One reason/excuse I don’t have a log is that I lift at home and can’t squat more than I can clean, and if I want to back squat I have to either do light weight that I can press over my head or wait until N. is around to lift it up for me. I can’t bench at all. I do weighted push ups and the squat thing is fine lately because I have widened my stance and that really took away from the weight I was able to lift. We are moving to Kentucky next week and I will have access to the seminary gym though so that’s a big YAY!
I’ve actually done really well with improvising I think. I’ve put on 15 lbs and I’m still a size 4, and get a lot of compliments. That’s nice, but I want to lift ACTUAL WEIGHT PLEASE…
/end long story by me thanks for asking

You should start a log when you get settled. My squat is lower then my bench, that is pretty darn weird in my book. It’s good that you made progress even though you don’t have access to a gym!! Even if you can’t bench, there are alternatives.

Thanks! I have been thinking about it. I swear I am going to get canned from my job soon because I spent all day yesterday looking for info on the net about this powerlifting gym that guy mentioned the other day. I couldn’t come up with anything so it must be a secret society or something.

Yeah, maybe he’s wearing cement shoes now and I’ll have to find another spotter.
