Don't Look Back

Good work, the good kind of sore is always welcome. The other kind, not so much.

Good sore is great. I’ve only been good sore once since starting at IH’s gym. I think I need to up the weight.

Thanks! I like them myself. And they were only 25 bucks instead of the usual 40.

And thanks for all the comments everyone. I do have a workout from yesterday to post, wasn’t my best but I wasn’t feeling well either. Will post in a few!

Its great to see you back logging. Great chucks.

Thanks kimba!

My gym plans got alittle sidetracked. I was going to the gym yesterday morning and I packed up and went to the beach instead. I’m not a fan of crowds so I figured this is my chance for peaceful beach time. I got so sunburnt that I doubt I will even be able to go to the gym today. The backs of my legs feel like they are going to get blisters.

Ouchie! Agreed that yesterday was a fine beach day, but you might’ve taken it just a wee bit too far, aye?

‘A wee bit too far’ is the story of my life! Today was supposed to be squat day but even if I could get over the pain of my legs, I still would have a problem putting the bar on my back.

Lots of aloe?

I feel your pain! literally…

Nice burn Toots! You poor people and your sunshiny, hot summers. I made it to the gym today because…it still feels like winter here!! WTF.

I burn just like that :frowning: Hurts, doesn’t it?

I’m healing up after a big bout of peely skin. Next weekend when I go back to the beach, I will have my sunscreen on at all times! And a cover up.

Even though I haven’t been working out this past week, big things have been happening for me. I been having a tough time in work lately which I feel like a spoiled brat talking about since alot of people are out of work right now. Basically I have nowhere to go where I am and to transfer to headquarters and get more exposure, those jobs are actually less money.

Nevermind the fact that I don’t enjoy working with the people I do. High drama and all women don’t really mix. But anyways, for the last week I have been trying to remember the reasons why I used to like being here and staying away from people throwing off the bad vibes. It won’t always work but it’s better then being pissed off everyday. (:

Hey Tootles! Just checking in. That burn looks painful! But i’m glad you’re in the peeling stage.

Work drama is no good! Way to stay positive!

Vinegar is the best remedy for you fair skinned lasses. Have someone sponge it on you. Yeah, it stinks, but who cares if pulls the sting out of you.

Thanks masch and print. Someone already mentioned vinegar but it sounded weird. But I will try it next time (hopefully there isn’t a next time) because it sounds better then feeling like your nerves are on fire! I can’t really complain, only plead temporary insanity.

I have a busy week ahead. I’m going to see Ringo Starr tomorrow and have a Red Sox game at the end of the week. I want to get in some gym time because it always puts in a better frame of mind.

I joined a new gym so my daughter can come with me but the catch is that it’s not heavy lifting friendly. I still have a back up gym for just me but they don’t have round plates so DLing is a pain in the ass. I’ll figure it all out somehow.

Maybe get one of the TILF guys up that way to help with the sunscreen?

Get back on the training wagon, mmkay?

Oh my!! I didn’t even realize until today that edgy bumped me!

I am kinda in limbo right now which is driving me crazy. Two years ago I had surgery for a ovarian cyst that burst and I found out a few weeks ago that I have one again but they don’t do anything unless it bursts again.

I feel silly because cysts are common and people go on with their life. Sometimes just doing laundry and two flights of stairs wears me out. I’m going back for another ultrasound in January to see where things are at but that seems like a lifetime away.
