It did before and even though it was the same pains as years ago, I thought I wouldn’t get them again because they put me on bc to prevent it. I have been stressed out so I guess anything can happen.

Thanks hallowed! I switched bc and now I’m back on Depo (shot). It’s only a temp thing cause you can’t stay on it for more then two years. I’m feeling better already and my appetite is shot. I bet edgy is sorry he bumped this thread with all the girl talk!

Hmn… who told you that about Depo? I’ve been mostly on it since I was eighteen. I’m now 34. Every two or three years I’ll go off it for exactly one month then right back on.

Well I know that all doctors are different but one doctor told me that in 2006 and then my doctor now said that the other day. But I think it’s a case by case basis and if you had trouble with other kinds it might not matter. Have you ever had a bone density test? For the last 15 years, I’ve been on it for a solid 10 and I’ve had good luck. Everyone else I know had a bad experience.

Nope never had a bone density test… they do that when they do the dexa body scan right? I might want to do one for body fat assessment at some point so yeah I will check out the bone density too (as long as I’m remembering those two go together on that scan). I’m good with my calcium supps but hmn… food for thought.

Well next time you get your shot, say you want them you refer you for a bone density test. It can’t hurt. I’m saying this but I’ve never had one myself but down the road definitely. I’m rock solid though, never had a broken bone or anything like that. Knock on wood!!
