Come on, don’t you want to know when your friends level up on mafia wars or farmville?!?!

That is exactly the crap that drives me up the wall. Its great to hear whats going on with them but the no damn games.

Agreed. But I’m fairly sure you can click an option to stop feeds regarding games. The problem is, they’re like roaches - you block on game and two more take its place.

Ahem, lifting? Bueller…

Yes, boss!! I will get right on it! I have a few workouts to post. My workouts haven’t been anything to write home about and I tweaked my back DLing today. I switched the grip mid workout (to mixed grip) and something happened. But the good news of the week is I got a new PR of 145 for 3 reps on my DL on Monday. (:

I will post meh workouts tonight.

Tweaking the back, SUCKS. I hope it’s minor, Cara.

Waits patiently for Cara’s workouts

Looks around for workouts

steps away from cat-man

waits impatiently for workouts

taps foot and sighs impatiently

Tries luring with teh kitties

Workout from 10/10:

15 min warm up and stretching

Squat:
1 65 8
1 65 6
1 85 6
2 95 6
1 105 5
3 115 5

Something funky was going on in my hip, I don’t think I stretched enough. My depth is getting better but I have to keep up stretching. Back to the mobility thread, that is my homework the next few days.

Bench:
2 65 8
2 85 6
3 95 5

Notes: 30 min of cardio after. I thought I would be setting the world on fire with five days of rest but work got crazy and I had to drive an hour and a half to take my kid to a Jonas Brothers concert. They were playing a casino and there were kids everywhere. Definitely a weird scene.

Sunday I did 50 min of cardio to try and get rid of the stress.

Workout from 10/12:

10 min warm up and stretching

Deadlift:
1 65 8
2 85 6
2 95 6
2 105 6
2 115 5
1 125 3
2 135 3
1 145 3 PR

Notes: 30 min of cardio after. This will end up the only good workout I had all week.

Workout from 10/14:

10 min warm up and stretching

Squat:
1 65 8
1 65 6
2 85 6
3 95 5
1 105 5
2 115 5

Notes: I ran out of time on this day and didn’t have time to finish or do cardio. I had alot of doctor’s appointments and stuff like that. I complained about the problems I was having with my shoulder/arm area and they made an appointment to see an orthopetic (sp?) but that’s a month away. Even though I’ve dropped weight from my bench, I’m still having problems. My path must be wrong or something.

Workout from 10/16:

10 min warm up and stretching

Deadlift:
2 65 8
2 95 6
1 105 6
2 115 5
1 125 5
1 135 1 then fail
1 115 0

Notes: 40 min of cardio. At 125 I switched to mixed grip so I can get used to it and something happened in my back. The grip feels very unnatural and I’m not sure I will try it again. On the 135, I tried the grip one more time and couldn’t even hitch it up so I switched back and still failed after one rep. I took 20 lbs off and still went nowhere. I was done with weights for the day. My back feels better now though.

Oh, and thanks guys for getting on my ass.

xoxo

Congrats on the DL PR, hopefully you will get your arm issues taken care of and be hitting PR’s on your bench soon.

I hope so!! I’m pretty sure I look strange staring over at the bench area longingly (is that even a word?!?!) like a secret lover.

Tonight’s workout:

10 min of warm up and a boatload of stretching

Squat:
2 65 6
2 85 6
2 95 6
1 105 5
2 115 5
1 125 5
1 115 5

Notes: I tried something new since I’ve been in such a slump. I came home from work and waited patiently for my second wind. Usually it’s a diaster going after work but I feel like I did pretty good anyways. I skipped the cardio because it messes with my sleep when I do it at night. The place was packed so I have to make peace with the fact the I might not get to do everything I want to. Back up plans must be made!!

Nice squatting.

training 5 to 8pm is a pain in the ass.

I know! Some guy tried to steal my rack while I was changing plates. I have to practice my death stare, complete with laser beams…
