Don't Look Back

Nothing wrong with hang out at home and just catching up on R&R.

Yes, us over 35ers have it tough!! I’m taking 5 days off before my vacation so I will have some quality gym time during my vacation. I usually don’t go anywhere, I’ve never ever been on a plane.

I don’t recall approving this vacation, Toots… Didn’t you just have one?

Is the ball going on vacation with you?
Should I be like you and whine, “you’re not the boss of me!!” My last one was July so poo to you. (:

I’ve been hankering for a pair myself but they’re not so easy to come by in the UK, and tend to cost Ã?£90-100. I definitely need to try them on because I have duck feet (narrow heels, wide toes) so a lot of shoes don’t fit me well.
Yeah, I got some weird feet myself that doesn’t agree with buying stuff online. I will be on the hunt though.

Hiya tootles! enjoy your vacation and your first plane ride!

Thanks! I’m not going anywhere on my vacation, I was saying that I don’t do anything on my vacation. I need the down time and a trip would probably throw me over the edge. I like to sleep in my own bed. You can just call me Miss Wet Blanket!!
Ha! Nice - I wish I had taken more stay-at-home vacations over the years. (sorry for miss-understanding)

No problem. When I read over my previous post, it did read like I was going away. I just have 3 more wake-ups until I get some time off from work!!

There is a word for it now, staycation. So you are in good company, Tootles. James and I took a week off together at home after we got back from our wedding in Vegas, and it was the best part of the whole honeymoon!

Did you get married by a fake Elvis?!?! When I grow up I want to get hitched in Vegas!!

PS: That’s so cute that your man was so quick to agree with you.

No, we did not spring for the Elvis, though we were married in a chapel that had an Elvis-for-hire. Would have cost an extra $100!

Kellog’s Tony The Tiger’s birthday is today!!! I think he’s 64. He shows no sign of retiring, either.

I hate Facebook.

YES! It IS the devil!!

I blame you and Renee. You guys used your feminine wilds to lure me there…

I always thought Facebook was more like the buddy who is fun every so often but gets on your nerves with repeated exposure.
