Yeah, I’ve had the “accidental PR” – it shows how much is psychological.
But maybe it’s technique. Mine is probably messed up for bench: I can never feel it in my chest, more in my shoulders. Maybe you’re hitting your chest especially well?
Are you going just under your chest or directly over your chest? I felt it in my shoulders too before I made the switch to under. I feel like I can get more power and I’m pretty sure that’s what others have said.

Oh, it’s directly over my chest; that may be the problem. (So you’re aiming for below the boob-line?)
So I went on a hunt to find where I read about it and it seems like I was a bit off. This is what I was talking about:
“the bar should be rowed to the lower chest and then exploded back over the shoulders”
This advice was on the feedback from meat thread on the over 35 lifter. I was never sure where to go with the bar being a overstuffed B / low C cup. I try to have the bar hit the other side of the mountain!!
Notes: 30 min of cardio after. I was all thrown off yesterday because I was dying to get to the gym but it never happened. My daughter had a concert to go to last night and there was too much to do. Hopefully the rest of my vacation will be quiet.

Oh, it was the Jonas Bothers concert last night? I’m so sorry:(

Yeah, it was Sat night. I’m so glad it’s over!! Crazy teenagers are too much for me and I didn’t even actually go to the concert.
I was hoping to get to triple digits today but my hips are sore from DLing the other day. I didn’t bother going back to the new gym because the equipment was too new (?) and I didn’t like the cardio stuff at all, no precor. I’ll put up with the stalkers for a few more weeks and just practice my death glare until I try another one.
Leg curl:
1 50 8
2 55 6
2 60 6
1 65 6
2 70 6
Calf raises:
2 20
2 15
Notes: 30 min of cardio after. I need to order some wrist straps!! It is what I need to take me to the next level of wimpy dogness. (^:
So I was shooting my mouth off in the Get a Life section and that’s the reason for my goofy avatar. I know teddy bears and lifting weights are a stretch but I was double dog dared. (^:

awwwww…such a cute pic! Hehe. Ohhh, the trouble the double dog dare got me into, in the past…someday, if I am feeling chatty, I will share the story how my mouthy little friend and her double dog daring getting me into a scrape, with benefit of numerous triple kamakazis, and a male softball team, all wearing green and white uniforms, and pinch hitting for one another. It is not a pretty story. Not pretty at all.

Well I like it. I’m sure someone will find a connection.
