I will start back at day 1 of week 8, when I can.
I have now been coughing for a week. I slept 6 hrs last night, under influence of codeine, mine you.
Today, I can walk a bit more, but speaking is still a cough trigger.
Ugh, I hope you shake this illness quickly.
Still stuffy and slow. I hope to get back on next monday. Yesterday, was hard just to be back at work.
I also had a dr appointment with a peri menopause specialist.
Learn a lot. Now, for some special blood work and then see what can be done to help with the situation.

Congrats! That leg press looks great. It also looks like it can go from a seated leg press to a standing hack squat machine. Am I right, or am I just seeing things incorrectly?
Yep leg press/hack squat, at that price, I choose versatility.

Good call, that’ll serve you well! I agree, hack squats are hard! I like how they minimize the need for back stabilization and transfer a lot more of the work to the legs than regular squats.

Now those were easy after the hack squat.
Right?! I was very surprised with how difficult hack squats are. I really like how they minimize lower back involvement and force the quads to do most of the work.

Went for blood rest this morning, had to fast for 12hrs. So sleep was not good, woke up at 4 am starving, but I may have some help with my stupid peri menopause.
I sneak on the scale and I was at 149lb fully dressed.
I am happy with my progress, even if my number are far from my mid 20’s pr and pre broken knee and elbow.
