Wednesday, April 1st
Physio, well i have a rib out of place. Said rib is pulling on my abs abs and my psoas is also cranky.
Few days of rest for the rib then slowly back to work.
Thursday April 2
Psoas release and stretch
Upper body stuff: row, pull down, OHP, bench, triceps, biceps
Ouch! Hope you get healed up soon. You have had a rough time of it.
Take it easy, pulled ribs can take a while to get back from.
Hope you recover fast though
Sunday April 5
Starting to feel much better.
But just learned that life will be on hold until May 4th. That mean that my work place is closed. ![]()
That will be a lot of home gym and dog walk. And way too much coffee.
Monday April 6th
Felt good enough to try a light work out. That rib/oblique is a bitch.
Just body weight is ok. I can use light weight on RDL or OHP. Even a 30lb db is too much for a goblet squat.
Nice walk with the dog, short because the ground is a mix of thin ice and mud. My foot went thru the ice maybe an inch or two and that was not comfortable.
Need a bit more rest.
Tuesday
Nice short workout. Avoiding any uncomfortable ROM.
Planning on many short walk my trails are nasty.
I decided to bit the bullet and fully rest until next Wednesday. Like a full week and then slowly ease back into it. I have a light nag left only but I can feel a few stiff ligament/tendon.
Ok not wednesday but I feel good.
Very light workout. Used an 16" box to limit the dept of my squats. Did some bench, OHP, triceps pushdown and fly.
Long, slow nature walk with the devil!

Deadlift, pull up, leg extension, seated row, ez bar curl, band pull apart, face pull.
Walk later.

Still feeling good.
Bench, OHP, Seated row, Lateral raises, Incline press, Wide lat pull down.
Sunday April 19
Light work out. That rib thing is still tender but feel good. Still not pushing it.
Box squat (16") 5x5, DB ohp 3x10x20lb db, bench 5x5 somehow that bug the rib a bit. Triceps over head extension 3x12x25lb, goblet squat 3x10x30lb db.
The new raw is very nice and more adjustable then the old one. We are still keeping the old one so we can both work at the same time when we can get some moe wrights and a barbell.
Silly dog got into some horse supplement so we had to rush him to the vet. He ate selenium. Could not get the horse to touch it but he was happy to eat 2 weeks of that stuff.

Will try to go for a walk but at the moment the wind is blowing too much dust.

After noon walk,
Proud moment for a dog owner. 4 deers were sleeping in the back field. Lucifer was unsure of what to do: chase, bark or listen to my recall. He did come back, has the deers were circling around the field to head back in the wood.
