Well, I am sore AF today.
Week end was a lot of dog walking, gardening and longed my 3yo filly Trouble for the second time.
My back is stiff and my left tibia hurt from being dragged and running with 1300lb/17.2hh of playful un trainned/educated baby horse.
Going to the gym today and the chiro.
Made to the gym. Lets not talk number but 50% max thing will get boring fast.
Got a spot at the chiro later today but my back feel much better after the gym.
Here is my carnivorus couch flower. Canāt wait for him to out of that. He act like a crazy land shark on a leash.
Day 2
It suck, I canāt find my balance to squat. I had to use the kid bar and even that was hard on my balance. Lost 120 lb on my deadlift.
I hope I will find this balance back soon. I donāt recall being that weak ever. I guess this is what happen when you get stuck on your back for 3 months.
My lower back is tight and sore.
On a good note my leg and ankle are getting a lot less sore and Trouble seem to like the working horse life. Today she got to wear a bit for the first time.
Start out light, you do that, thatās good.
Progress very slow and within 6 month you should be back stronger than before.
Glad to see you back in the gym.
That poor dog, no wonder heās acting crazy.
Made it to the gym after my first day back at work. I was still sore.
It still suck but I am trying.
Day 1 cycle 2.
Mostly upper body which is easy but I have to keep the weight low. Bench is getting more comfortable. Day 1 will be boring fast.
Day 2, cycle 2
Rode my old steady eddie. It was very uncomfortable and now it is swollen and blueish.
Gym night, getting better but still weak as hell.
I am putting my young mare for sale. It is just impossible for me to work her the way she need.
Well other then some bruising on my leg, I am not too sore from the leg work out.
Day 3, cycle 2
Still weak but getting better.
My right arm is sore from clearing some trails but it was worth it. Nothing like some brute force and a big ass knife.
Day 1, cycle 3
Progress, slow and boring but still progress.
Day 2, cycle 3
Improvement ![]()
Or it is because it was just us in the gym so I ask for better music. Iron Maiden make everything easier.
Dealift is 10 lb under what I can do this month. Squat are getting there and up 2lb.
Whoo hoo
Day 3, cycle 3
Getting better.
I ran a bit working my young horse on the longe line. Walk the dog 45 minutes at a good pace.
And getting stronger (still weak but stronger) then last week/cycle.
Forgot my phone at home, and it is clear danse/pop music suck for conditioning
Day 1, cycle 4.
Progress steady and feeling good.
At last good to read things are getting better, keep up the good work and donāt overdo it.
Day 2, cycle 4
Deadlift are easy at 95lb but stuck there for an other 2 cycles
Squats: ATG are in good form but weak as hell, box squat are much stronger, and sumo are just very limited due to poor ROM.
Also with all my free time, I did the neurotest and it match very well with the MBTI. 1B and ISTP.
Day 3, cycle 4.
Things are starting to feel good.
Dips suck my left arm is much weaker then the right. Funny how a previously injured body part decline faster then the other.
I book a session with one of the trainer who also do body work to see if he can help my knee a bit and work on the scares of the hernia.
So getting there.
Day 1, cycle 5
Numbers for upper body are starting to look more normal.
One more week of easy then I can ramp up for the next month.
Day off. Got some body work done on my bad leg and back. It feel good but I look like I was assulted with some baseballs.
Lot less tension around the plate and my back is not so stiff.
Even went for a nice evening walk in the wood with my bf and Lucifer.
