Agree!
I would be down with that.
If it has a lake, a mountain and a lot of space⦠oh and warm weather too
You may just find me there or out doing some stuff.
Sunday,
Ski afternoon.
We got some really wet snow after all the friday rain.
The place was packed, some obnoxious younsters. I used to be one of those, I am pretty sure. Saw many close call and a few impact.
Did 8 runs with 5 black. I am starting to get those edge in some not perfect but working on it.
I am so in!! When and where? Letās make this happen!!!
We could go to CO and kidnap @Dani_Shugart. Scenery, awesome hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and biking, and the added Dani bonus!
Yes please! Although when it comes to snow, Iām too much of a baby. Iāll cheer you all on from inside somewhere toasty. ![]()
Sounds like we need a summer AND a winter destination.
I will also opt of of skiing, but I am always down for the desert and warm weather activities. SCO Springs or a little more south west in the San Juans would be amazing!
I mean, we donāt even have to ski! Maybe we should just gather in a warm room (but not too warm, or I suspect @donnerschweer and I will become overheated and cranky) and TALK about skiing or not skiing and biking or not biking. Why we like or donāt like things. While we have high protein snacks, which I expect @Dani_Shugart to bring.
I would imagine that we could talk about sport and training as well as the injuries that impact our efforts to enjoy them for several days without ever touching on anything non-sport.
We actually just booked a 1 week of skiing out in BC.
That sounds wonderful! On a side note I require a coffee cup, some way to brew said coffee, a view and good company. I am cool with anything else, or nothing else. Lol.
Wednesday,
Sumo squat, DB bench
Leg curl, Lat pull down
Leg press, Seated row
@BethB Coffee is a none negotiable and a warm place to sleep.
Beautiful Photos
Agreed. Goes perfectly with what @EmilyQ said and @donnerschweerās non-negotiable.
A warm coffee shop, with amazing coffee, and pastries. Balance for the protein snacks, we need carbs for the adventures ladies!
Iām throwing it out there, my town has at least five top notch coffee shops (Iām sure there are more, have a few to try still), beautiful woods, skiing and snowshoeing, or a river to float in the summer. Mountain biking/trail running. Farm to table restaurants, micro brewies (Iām pretty sure a few of you like beer?). You get it. Itās an outdoor, food, coffee and hippie paradise.
That sounds pretty amazing!
Thursday
Physio in the morning.
Ski after work. We got some fresh snow about 10cm but the temperature dropped to -14oC and it felt like -22oC. My fingers got a bit cold after 1 hour.
The snow was a bit heavy and sticky. So harder on my knee but felt good after 1 run.
Friday
Squat, incline bench
Rdl, seated row
Back extension, ohp
Day 2 of the month, feeling nausious.
Sunday,
Ski both Saturday and today. Lost count of how many runs we did. We have very mild temperatures at the moment. Yesterdayās snow was amazing, today was pretty icy but manageable.
Tomorrow, I am going back to the 4 days upper / lower split.
BW this morning was 136.8lb
We are getting some gears for our March trip to Sun Peak like ski and boot bags. Kind of very excited about a real trip away from home. Itās been about 10 years since we fly away. We had many fun adventures but stayed closer to home.
Monday
Easing back into it
Bench 12x45, 2x10x65lb
Landmine row 3x12x35lb
OHP 3x12x15lb db / Chest press 3x12x25lb db
Lat pull down 3x12x140lb / Front+lat raises 3x10x5lb db
In other life event, I will ask to move to a 4 day work week. We are at pointbin our life. So I will ask for Wednesday or Monday off.
