Tuesday.

Last night, I had a bit of a headach. This morning I feel like shit. Headach, nausea, muscles sore.

Lets drink a lot of water and not move.

I have been taking it easy with my shoulder. It is much better but not where I want it.

Bike ride. 4 fun laps. I got my new brakes and they much better then the originals. It is strange how much faster you can go when you know you will stop when needed.

More biking. My shoulder was ok before the ride and now it is a bit sore.

Let see how it is with some rest.

My shoulder is getting much better and somehow doing fuck all my knee decided to joint in.

We had a 3hrs mtb class on Saturday. We were doing some tech stuff. I roll over a wet slab, slide off, tried to catch myself and my foot also slide off the slab. A 44lb bike is heavy when it land on top of your bad leg.

I am just getting back in motion, easing back in the gym.
Next week I am on vacations.

Satirday,

More biking with the regular bike.
Did the mendatory one climb.

Still working on better position. Made it for the full rock garden trail. PB can do them one by one. I am not able to gather enough speed to bounce over some latger rocks, so I have to link the 3 first sections.

Now to get cleaned up and visit the in laws.

Wednesday

Improvised vacation at E47 (3:30 drive) near Quebec city.

Got there yesterday. Rode some trails. Very different type of riding.
Did a guided 3hrs tour today. My knee would have never survive that without the e bike.

Worked on climbing skill. Many section look like so much fun to ride down but no they were to go up only.

Ofcourse I found the jump line.

The food was amazing. I even had a drink. After that the carpet tried to trip me with its lines but I manage to stay up right.

Thursday,

Suprisingly not sore after so much hill climb.
We went for 2 small runs just to move our legs before it got too hot.
Made it thru the last trail section, I was struggling with, with no stop or hesitation.

Guess what..? More biking, visited a down hill only park today.
Found some challenging sections, some fun and fast stuff.

Tomorrow is the last day of vacations.

Yesterday was the last day of vacation. We did some bike but the air was gross.

Today, back in the gym, some light stuff to get back in motion.

Saturday,

Bike day.
Road the rock garden once then tryied for a second go. Miss the line, got bucked, lost balance and tumbled down a few feet. Tryied to do it again but my nerves got the best of me.

Went back on the jump lines and crised it 3 more times.

Also my weight keep crawling down. I maybe starting to lose muscles.

On the personel side of life. After some discussion with the BF. I decided to quit the my desk job and find a more active position. We can see physical and mental thing coming back from way back then I had an office gig.
So getting older dose not change the brain wirering. I am giving my resignation monday.
