Got the belt squat built. Had to call off lifting today due to time constraints because with the belt squat, I had to reorganize the gym since it needed a stud. But the plus side is I got a lot of house stuff done and I’ve been running and gunning all day. About to go review for a presentation tomorrow. Can’t wait for everything to normalize again. Tomorrow is clear though
Did get in push ups, squats, chins throughout day

Just finished my biomechanics presentation on the acceleration of the knee during a pedal stroke on the stationary bike and I filled out 2 minutes of yapping to hit the presentation time limit. I was talking to my group after, I mentioned I did strongman for a year and bjj for 6 and was about to get into rugby when someone said “A big ass strongman like Mason knowing BJJ that’s pretty cool”. Not sure if it was said in jest but I’ll take the compliment lmao
But the fruits of being busy and studying hard while not lifting have gone well:

Did well on the presentation (not graded yet)
This puts me into a really good spot going into finals with a 82 in chem, 85 (should be higher after presentation) on biomechanics, 97 in philosophy, and 93 (without last exam) in stats

Random Notes:
- I’ve been sitting on the ground a lot while studying. I think this has single handling saved my hips and hip flexors for being in a lot of pain. I can sit in a squat, pigeon hold, pancake, etc but the movement and positions work well
- Busy weekend. Phils exam, nephews birthday, and studying yesterday. More family stuff and studying today
- Going to lift tomorrow. 3 days is always my cut off period for not doing something. Even if it’s not the full session, just something
- At like 10pm post studying last night, I learned how to saddle stitch and made a little leather ring to practice
I’m bringing back these goals! Abou to go lift and I was looking for my last push press best but I found this

- I think apex predator is doing me a little dirty here. I’m basically having trickles of carbs every couple days versus 1 feast. Still have the shakes and meat dinners. I’m going to have a feast tonight and get back to carb ups soon
- I’m not worried about the inconsistent sessions in the short term like this but part of me hates it because I do like to lift
- I’m going to have to get over only doing “full sessions” and do Cindy’s everyday
