Yes to both. You can see me using them in most of my recent videos. Along with the dumbbells, I have the kettlebell handle and the weight vest, which is WHY I like them so much: they’re a whole system. The only compliant is that they’re slower to change out compared to other adjust DBs out there, but they feel very natural and are incredibly sturdy.
I’ve had some shit ones in the past. They just get cast aside. I do have DB plate loaded handles but those things are stretchy for pressing
That’s the main reason I’ve been wanting them. I could get different sized KBs without having to buy more KB’s
Thanks! The set I saw is $700 for a pair of 120lb pair of DB handles and a stand. It’s expensive but would make an extremely nice treat/birthday gift for myself

Notes:
- Holy shit. Workout 2 almost broke me. Almost threw up in round 4. Rally and pushed through listening to “Gonna fly now” for round 6
- The light squats are great so my TFL can heal up. Still got a decent leg pump from them. Nonlockout squats are hard
- I’m really curious to see what someone whos in good shape (like @T3hPwnisher ) could do on this program. Probably smash the hell out of it
- Planning for a sprint workout tomorrow but first. Meat tonight and lots of it
- I look at these workouts on paper and think they shouldn’t be too hard. It’s a fun process of finding out, they are demanding as hell on conditioning

Did we just become Arch-Enemies?!
@T3hPwnisher I’m more made of protein powder realistically lol
@simo74 Good thing I plan to double up the running this week!

Notes:
- It was supposed to be 1-2-3-4-3-2-1 but after 200m, my hip would like catch and grind so dropping it down like that made it doable
- To make it harder, I made sure to pull hard, stay upright, and nose breath. The nose breath was killer
- Grass was still wet and slick. I plan on getting a cheap pair of cleats to not worry about slipping
- @T3hPwnisher Have you ever smoked a whole beef shoulder before? I got one yesterday because it was on sale and I’m trying to figure out how to do it
I’m not Pwn but I’ve smoked some meat in my time. Are you talking about a shoulder roast or literally the entire shoulder, like what some call “clod”?
Neither beef or pork. My smoke game is still pretty virgin. If in doubt, there’s always the pressure cooker instead.
Pretty sure its the whole shoulder. I’ve bought the roasts before but this is labeled “whole shoulder” and weights 13lbs. I’ve never heard it called “clod” before!
I think I’m going to do it like a brisket
Gotcha! Just wanted to check because you always find good meat deals!
I think this thread might have some good ideas. I would probably cut it into smaller hunks myself, or else freeze the leftovers.

real
@BrandonCrawford Thanks! I saw some good stuff in there!
Training montage: W2D2
Time: 20 minutes (5 rounds)
- 5 pushups
- 5 lying leg eaises
- 10 toe touch/sky reach
- 10 OH claps
- 20 ATG toe squats
- 5 spread eagle sit ups
- 10 superman’s
- 5 ring pullups
- 2 min Walk on toes
Notes:
- I really enjoy this workout. It’s light and I can do it in the yard
- Got a 100% on philosophy exam
- Spent the day with my gf. I still got stuff done, got my Protien in, and lifted. So that’s a success
- Took the dogs to the park for a long walk (1 hr). So that was 2 hours of walking my old dog did today. Pretty proud of him. He’s kicking ass for 13
- I have been having more carbs recently because of my birthday (yes it’s a whole thing. I hate it and would rather one celebration and done). Apex Predator is still the base just no carb up because it’s not needed
- To the above, I eat the carbs because A. I don’t have moral issue with them B. I’ll just train harder C. It’s not worth the trade off of missing out on sharing food or making deserts with my girlfriend (same goes with celebrations). It’ll all balance out. Plus I actually have self control with it now. For example, we got a large sandwich to split. I had a quarter of it and was good (it was on muffaletta Bread)
- We made a homemade coconut cream pie last night. It was amazing
This is right up there with sourdough as one of the best.
My favorite sandwich is at a restaurant 5 hours away and it’s on Muffaletta bread. Now I am thinking I need to go get one before they close for the season… Dang.
I loved everything about all this. First: what was the exam on? And it’s outstanding that you can recognize the opportunities to pivot nutritionally and enjoy the EXPERIENCE of the food rather than simply the food itself. That too me FOREVER: I’d always binge when given the chance to indulge. You’re so far ahead of the game here.
