Looked like a solid load. Are you wearing a belt backwards for this ? I don’t usually use a belt for sandbag work but I know a few who will wear a soft belt.
Yeah. Mainly because I was slick from sweat and needed someone to help grip the bag vs just a soaking wet t shirt. I noticed the breathing and bracing didn’t really change any. Only backwards so the buckle didn’t get in the way
Implementing rule of 10 on squats. Back to using the SSB and I felt a lot of it in my adductors. Just assuming it’s from being a little tight. Nothing is feeling smoked. I also noticed I have trouble getting sore in my quads. Could be from all the squatting, single leg work, and prowler work I use to do (high tolerance before DOMS)
Having the events day/strongman goal, it’s really allowing me to use the lifts for developing size and strength vs just trying to lift heavy. All squatting was done with a great depth and tempo
Ate after this and then crashed on the couch. Best nap ever.
Main lifts are taken until the last rep slows. This feels like I could get 1 more grindy rep for sure and maybe 2 on a really good day. I think this is the right intensity
I really hate getting stronger on GHD. Just means BW will get me less so weight and bands is the way to go
Dreadful lower back pump on reverse hypers. Could be my weakness. We will see. Just need to hammer everything considering I’m weak
