Doing Dumb Stuff as a College Kid

Literally got Cairo inside, took my shirt off, wrapped my hand and sat so I didn’t pass out

Well that’s not good. Dang it. Make sure you give an update. I’m invested now.

Aren’t we all. I have no idea what I’m going to do. Lily might be having to go to adoption

Have you always had problems with her?

Just recently. It seems her and Cairo have started fighting more since I brought home the stray. She’s now going to have a fucking bite record

Ahh. Well, get you hand taken care of. Try not to freak out. Maybe she just needs to adjust to the new situation.

Upper body is probably a wash for a hot minute. Time to build my legs I suppose

How’s the hand?

Stiff! Surprisingly not painful but everything was pretty superficial

That’s good! Hope it heals up quickly.

  1. Puppy gastritis.
  2. Puppy split scalp.
  3. Hand injury.
That’s your 3. Should be smooth sailing now.

I think it will! Just have to watch out for infection. We are boarding Lily at the vet for the weekend so she can have some quiet post injury

Ok last update. I’m on a bunch of antibiotics for 7 days with one being linked to tendon rupture. Going to a PCP tomorrow for a wound check and I will ask but it’s looking like a deload haha

Lily is off to the vet and I’m contacting trainers for cairo

To fight off my boredom during this time, I bought another box of minis to build and paint

@T3hPwnisher This is seriously annoying with only 2 sessions left of deepwater beginner

Most definitely sucks man. Glad you got that squat workout done: it’s the real big challenge. Hopefully heal up soon.

Well… I lack the empathy and patience a dog requires, and I don’t deserve one.
I had her for about three weeks. She was absolutely an amazing dog. Pretty well trained considering she was a rescue. She did have some moments, she ripped her cheap kennel apart once to escape and got into the trash while we were gone. She constantly paced around and would nudge or nip her jaws at us if we ignored her too long, would go to the bathroom in her kennel then refuse to go outside, etc.
I realized I was constantly anxious and getting more and more angry at her everyday. It wasn’t fair to her. So I took her back to the rescue. They had a 60 day “no questions asked” return policy. She was adopted again about a week later to a family with another Malinois, a farm with many acres and livestock to herd. Far better life that I ever could have given her.
That was a long answer. TLDR: I no longer have a dog.

I’m sorry to hear. I think that was a very good call on your part!

Thanks, I am glad I decided to give her back too. I felt like a failure by giving her back, but that’s far better than everyone being miserable for the sake of sink cost.
