Great news about the sleep…and the counters. Hopefully it keeps going!
Sorry to read you and your son are having a tough stretch. I hope it all smoothes out for you real soon.

Bike 3 miles, shldr rehab w/u
Bench barx10, 85x5, 105x5
Working sets: 125x3, 140x3, 160x3
BBB 105x10
Bike 3 miles: +6 Ride to Salina 172 to go
Got home later than I like last night and couldn’t get motivated. Then didn’t sleep well, oh well…
Tonight went pretty good, added in the BBB sets and got a good pump even with only 105#s
The kitchen is almost finished if the contractor would only show up when he says he will…
I think I’m going to celebrate when your kitchen is finally finished. Sounds like your starting to get back in the swing of things a little. Good. Don’t know if you’ve said, or want to, but, you going to find somewhere high up again when you move or come down to civilization?
Good to see you adding more work with the BBB set. Great job.

I’ll celebrate for sure - it’s still not finished.
We might move down off the mountain but not down to the flatlands.

Ups and downs over the last 4 days, no training, little real sleep
trying to get the house rearranged and hope the trim and kitchen get finished this next week
Good luck with the house stuff this week! Great to see you continuing to work the program.
Where the heck is Salina and why do you want to get there?

The “race to Salina” is a virtual competiton between Mathineer and myself. Salina Kansas just happens to be about half way in between our home locations.
There is a neighborhood in Brooklyn called Flatlands.
Nice work.

I have been wondering.
Ever so cool!

What are you racing on? Treadmills or bikes?
George, just checking in. Workouts are looking good. I hope you’re still pulling sumo style. Live long and prosper.

BBB 55x10 5 sets

Busy week, no trainingâ?¦
Was spending 3-4 hours a day in the car shuttling my son back and forth to school & tests & Dr appts, then trying to work at least 40 hours somewhere in there. No energy left for training until today.
Sleep has improved again and both of our moods continue to improve. House is still “almost” ready to go on the market and my son and I have decided to look at places down in the flatlands.
Good job fitting the lifting in where you can. Sometimes you just got to buckle down and weather the storm.

Thanks Joe - that’s story these days, weather the storm…

Ride 3 miles,
Squat: 45x10, 115x5, 135x5, 165x3
Working sets: 185x3, 210x3, 235x3
SSB 120x10x3 sets
Bike 3 miles: ride to Salina +6, 154 to go
SSB squats kill me even at a measly 120#s. of course my lack of heavy training for almost 3 months now also has something to do with that. Hopefully my life will settle down some after this next week. The house will be done and on the market and I won’t be running my tail off as much driving Chris back and forth.
