Dogpile 2010

I have competed with PMPM before but didn’t really know her until we introduced ourselves to each other at last month’s meet. You always lift raw, right? I don’t know the meet you’re referring to from last August, but I do know that there’s one at RMLC July 31-Aug 1, I believe. I’ll be in the audience . . . watching.

Never tried any equipment. I’m going to target the meet at the end of July. Hope to see you there.

Love the video. Great training George.

Nice pressing. And the meet sounds exciting. I need to get one lined up as well. Good work.

Nice pressin’, soldog. Looks like it is coming back. PRs will be falling in no time.

WOW !..just wow. I forgot what I was going to say.

Oh right…keeping the chin up and the lifting solid. Hope to see you at a meet this year.
ERIC D.

Good presses. Sights set on another meet? Good deal.

Bike 5 minutes warm up
Training max = 240
Squat Barx10, 95x5, 115x5, 135x5, 155x3
Work sets: 180x5, 205x3, 230x9 PR +1 rep

BBB 145x10x5 sets
Rack Pulls from the bottom of my knee (hole #6 in the rack)
135x5, 225x5, 315x5, 405x1 PR

Cheap PRs today. I haven’t maxed out on reps at 230 since mid-July and managed to beat that day by 1 rep. Never done rack pulls from this height before, so the 405 is a baseline PR and it is pretty near max right now based on the way my head started to spin afterward.

Went house hunting today, saw 4 houses and 2 are possibilities. Funny, my main criteria is a slab foundation and a room with enough ceiling height and space where I can set up my power rack.

Good to see that you have your priorities straight.

Indeed.

Nice work, soldog. Putting 4 plates on each side and making it move just feels good, doesn’t it!?

Yep. Good priorities.

You moving down the hill?

Yep, if this house sells - I’m gonna try flatlander living for a bit.

Nice work ,
good pressing and some fine pulling,
4 wheels always feels good.

There is a neighborhood in Brooklyn called Flatlands.

the training continues to improve. well done!

Congrats on the PR George, good luck with finding a house. Its a buyer market in a lot of places.

George, those squats are looking great! I like your house-hunting priorities.

Your getting after it George, Nice work

Good job on your squat PR! And best of luck on the house hunting. Bought my 1st condo last June since the current interest rates made it interesting. There’s talk of increasing it in June/July. There should be a last minute blitz of house buyers in my nook of the woods.

Bench Training max = 165#
w/u Bike 5 min, shldr rehab
Barx10, 65x5, 85x5, 100x3
Working: 115x5, 130x3, 145x13 rep PR +4

Assistance:
A1 BBB 115x10x5 sets (up 10 lbs)
A2 DB BO Row 90x10x5 sets (up 5 lbs)

Feeling pretty good today. Pushed the money set and then the assistance work and barely made the last of the BBB bench. Found out today that my son was accepted into a legal mental health program that, if he completes successfully, will result in a complete waiver of the charge. Another batch of stress off of me.

Speed bench! The bar was flying up. Maintained really good form throughout, too. Glad the non-lifting life stuff is improving.
