I think certain indviduals want to avoid the stigmatization and end up bull shitting themselves.
I’m a long time TRT user, not a roid head, but I was around so many roid heads in my late teens and 20s in the late 90s and aughts who were so open about it. My second gym was like 50% roid using guidos.
I went to the Powerhouse discussed here. The place was a bit of a zoo.
What if you’re someone like me that intends to squeeze the most our of your truly prescribed TRT? Are there certain ways to maximize it’s use without hopping on other drugs? Certain “levels” to achieve?
Focus more on the gym and your plate.
Boring, but it’s the truth.
Should put you back in range of a healthy adult male, therefore the advice to maximise your potential is the same as theirs:
This basically, I’d add sleep and recovery.
The only slight advantage from TRT for cutting is the ability to lower fats below what natural men need on a cut. I have days where it’s basically chicken breast, rice, fruit & veg, FF greek yogurt, whey, and oats, I’d doubt I’d get more than 10/20g of incidental fat, that can be helpful on a cut, but it’s not exactly game changing (I quite like having a little bit more fat within the day).
No. There’s nothing to squeeze out of it.
Yep, they are. Social media has made “it’s just TRT bro” a pretty common saying among steroid users. I think it’s half joking / half serious way of playing off their AAS use.
Internet TRT: Up to 500 mg per week plus other drugs
Haha yup.
Greg had someone on his channel last week, a pro i think, who said that 500mg of Test + Anavar was considered a “dad cycle”. I think he was from Egypt or someplace.
The biggest issue with this narrative is that it ends up demonizing those using TRT for legitimate medical reasons. I see it frequently: “No cheating with roids or TRT” “Hey, are you on juice or TRT?”
BINGO!
Most IMO… if had a alternative would rather avoid all the hassle of TRT to have a normal T level.
Oh my goodness yes. TRT was life changing, I’m SO glad I could get it and that I have it, but my first world problems are that I’m now dependent on a medication for the rest of my life. I’d much prefer to be “normal”.
Is that Greg Doucette?
Same here. I wish I did not have to take TRT. Hence I cannot relate to the enthusiasm some men have who don’t need it or are inclined to complicate the shit out of it.
This is a big gripe of mine, people who think TRT is some sort of “lifestyle drug” and distort what is simply medication for a medical condition.
Also doesn’t help the perception of TRT in the media either. It’ll only get demonized more if they start lumping all steroid use in with “TRT”. Some of these clinics already push the line.
Technically estrogen falls into the catagory of a steroid by definition.
And so does prednisone and Medrol. I was on a constant dose of Medrol for about five years. And I had Cushing Syndrome as proof.
When I first started taking AAS and said I was on steroids, most everyone in the medical community thought I meant corticosteroids. The public has almost no knowledge of anabolic steroids.
Yes, that’s the same thing
No. You won’t lose much muscle or size because you haven’t much to lose. I don’t mean to sound lije an asshole but that’s what it is.
The ones that should be concerned with losing muscle and size while cutting are powerlifters although they are mostly concerned about losing strength and then that’s a whole other philosophy when it comes to cutting.
In your case, anything you may lose will be glycogen which, once replenished will not corelate to loss of definition or size.
