Do You Have a Personal Mantra?

Mundis Ex Igne Factus Est

Pussies quit

Helps me run up the steepest hills. What it lacks in encouragement it makes up for with simplicity.

#1 on da googles man. Congrats. Now the other thread makes plenty of sense.

“Let me free
Let me be me”

or

“What will be, will be”

“This can’t kill me.”

“Shut up and squat.”

I didn’t think of it, but it does get me going.

Everytime you sleep in,
Everytime you wake up late,
Everytime you miss a workout,
You make it that much easier for me to beat you.

Kinda lame but it works.

never waste your time dating a ten if you can fuck five twos regularly

Fuck this shit, Lets do dis.

I also have a feeling there is plenty of military folks who take use of mantras in shit times… hah.

more please

I have my family crest tatted on my right shoulder. Our mantra is “Nec cupias, nec metuas” which translated means “neither fear nor desire”.

I also live by “one day at a time”. If you never look too far ahead you’re generally more able to handle the little surprises life tosses your way.

I really liked the “don’t let insignificant people have a significant impact on you” quote. That’s really badass.

This is going to suck… FUCK IT!

Look around the gym and tell yourself you want to be stronger than that other guy.

I tell myself. I want it more than amybody else.

Find a small weak person and say… I remember being that small, then look in the mirrior and see how far you have come.

“That which does not kill you only makes you stronger.”

“Live for today, because yesterday is gone, and tomorow may never come.”

these seem to work for me

My life sucks

Take a look at this

Does this look infected

Look no cavities

GET SOME!!!

“I would rather attempt to achieve something great and fail than attempt to achieve nothing and suceed.”

like myself I’m sure everyone here is his or her own biggest critic when it comes to measuring gains. for me it’s simply never enough, I want more for myself. this sport is an everyday struggle.

never become complacent.

“I’m too old for this shit.”

“Kill them all.”
