You sure that’s not just regular hunger signals? Eggs might be the hardest thing to binge on. So filling!
Maybe someday we should start a thread about binging, or stories about previous bad habits and what we did to change them. Eating challenges are so common.
They make excuses for being obese and at the same time they stuff their faces.
Waste my time asking for advice and then don’t make an effort to follow a single guideline
Waste my tax dollars or government resources for diabetes and other obesity related diseases
Take something like Ozempic and celebrate their accomplishment
Sit next to me on an airplane
Other than that, I care not what an obese person eats or does. But as @alex_uk stated, number 3 above applies to a lot of unsavory choices by people other than over eating or being obese.
Being shredded / jacked and using Ozempic is kinda like looking like a good BBer by using steroids. It helps, but it isn’t just take Ozempic and be shredded. Most who use steroids are just a bit bigger, most on Ozempic just look a bit less obese.
Not in my experience with others I’ve encountered. It’s a scapegoat for healthy living. It’s pressing the easy button. I have no respect for it. But I’m solely expressing my opinion. Remember this is what bothers “ME” and may not apply to you or others.

GLP-1 Agonists only help reduce the hunger… which is NOT the root cause of why these tubbies are as fat as they are. Most are too fat because:
Reducing their hunger isn’t solving their issue.
I’m sure you both know this but a lurker may not. The Body Fat Solution by Tom Venuto does a good job addressing this. Most of the people who need it most, won’t read it though.
There has been data showing that less obese people tend to actually lose more than really obese people on it. I think what you said about hunger not being the only issue is confirmed by that data point.
That is fair. I use semaglutide, but not brand name stuff. Maybe brand name works better. I also use pretty low amounts compared to what is being done. It has helped me go from sorta lean to sorta shredded. 4 pack to 8 pack type of thing.
I am just saying that I view it like other PEDs. I don’t think attributing all of a BBers success to AAS is a correct assessment. They still had to eat the food and lift the weights. Sure without AAS the physique wouldn’t be as impressive, but it likely would still be good (kinda like as I said sorta lean to sorta shredded). I think you would be right if you said “easier button”. My results will not occur for someone that is a typical obese person who takes Ozempic. I still have to eat well, eat lots of protein, do cardio 4X a week, lift 4X a week, not to mention the decade and a half I spent lifting prior to using it.
Unfortunately, I do think many have those expectations. Probably more so with TRT (seems many guys think they will transform into Thor with 6 months of TRT).
#2 by a landslide. They act like criticism of being fat is some type of bigotry as opposed to the fact being fat, really being extremely obese, is a major health concern. #1 just makes me shake my head, #2 pisses me off.
This thread is why AA puts a lot of emphasis on humility, service to others, and especially helping newcomers
You don’t have a handle on this at all. In fact, it could easily be said that you’re getting throttled even harder than ever.
Damn. If only there was a thing for people who are/were over eaters that have practical knowledge and provide support for people with an Over eating problem. Especially if is Anonymous.
