I need to meet with Derek/DJHT. We have been talking for 2-3yrs and we live in the same damn state.
Derek, PX and I live in the same city and I have yet to meet them. They are on the list to meet.
Our son is thinking about Rice next year. If it happens, the Puffs will be contacting you about the in’s and out’s of Houston.
I live right around the corner from Rice. What a good school, but extremely Liberal. Just giving you a heads up. If you are Liberal then it will be perfect. A little weird, but the campus is beautiful.
BYU, also on the list.

Are you LDS?
Because that is the ONLY reason to go to that crap factory ;-)
My thoughts exactly.

LOL! I see how this is going to go.
You obviously haven’t waded through the 28 pages of crazy on that Giving up on Women thread. Yes, I am a former Coug myself. The college football games were awesome. I know, I know. I’ve given you a hard time about the lack of decent ethnic food in Utah. And I’m sticking to it! I hadn’t been back to Utah for 20 years, until we went back last summer for vacation.
Beautiful state, but we have no family there. If we’re talking religion, yes I’m LDS but not conventional in many ways. Faith wise, I’m a bit of a Mormon/non-denominational Christian hybrid if you can picture that, which is one reason I very seldom talk religion or politics here.
EDIT: And FYI, Dmaddox is just trying to get even with me for saying men between 5’4" and 5’10" are in the sweet spot. Nice try.

Lol. I forgot about that. I hold you Puff in the highest regards. I would love to discuss the Mormon/non-denominational Christian hybrid further because that just blows my mind. Same morally, but theologically on different planets. I understand if you do not want to discuss though.
I think there are a lot of members of the LDS that classify themselves that way. I dated a Mormon girl for a while and we had a lot of discussions about the differences in theology. The Baptist boy and the Mormon girl couldn’t really make it work though ha.
Out of state Mormons are 180 degrees different than Mormons raised in Utah.
