much admiration.[/quote]

thanks candygram!

damn i’m still hobbling from squats a couple days ago. anytime i add volume or mix things up squat wise… get massive massive doms. and climbing over fences while i do farm chores is a fuckin bitch with really sore legs.

i finish coan philippi this weekend and am transitioning into 5-3-1.

i’m gonna be eating below maintenance and hopefully have my tummy be nice and flat by halloween.

oh here’s my updated back progress pic… yeah i know the lighting sucks and i look kinda huge and squatty.

the top pic is march 08, the middle is may 09, and the bottom is two nights ago.

5 lbs difference in bodyweight between the top and bottom. (127 lbs to 132 lbs)

you can see my love handles poking out at the bottom. them and my tits got huge this bulk. typical for my body type. =+/

i’m hoping to drop about 8 lbs in the next five weeks and get back into the booty shorts i was able to wear at the start of the summah.

Your back/shoulders/arms look great! There’s alot of hard work showing up in that last pic.

Wow. If I weren’t completely straight, I might proposition you! You look awwwwesome.

You are more than welcome to visit any time and play with his toys. Um. That sounds BAD, hahahahahaha…seriously, we have a guest room with a king sized bed. Well, we have a guest/sewing/office room and a king sized bed in storage that we keep meaning to move INTO said room…we live about an hour from Glacier Park and probably 2-3 hours from Yellowstone…open invitation.

And James is an awesome trainer and he does share his toys :slight_smile:bats eyes innocently

what the hell

sounds like a dreamy setup. my little bro still lives in missoula… and we have a good chunk of friends out there… but just haven’t found the time to make it back yet. we have vegas and a long trip over the pond coming up in the next year… so once again mt gets put on the back burner. =+(

buzz kill yo

Vegas is fun. James and I spent about four days there in August, after we “eloped.” Hehe. Ig uess it is not eloping if you tell everyone and your eight year old neice shows up to be the flower girl. I’ve not been across the pond since I spent my junior year of college in France…sigh. I intended to be an international jet setter but have yet to find the time. Oh, and the billions.

I work in Missoula 5 days a week, and am commuting from Ronan, about 110 miles daily. I listen to a LOT of books on CD.

sorry brosef I was schwasted and lost track of what I was reading.haha

yah the 2am pizza rolls gave it away. =+D

i’m halfway there mahself. work cut out early today so i got to pop a top early in front of some college football. the inlaws will be here in a couple hours. we’re going to a FAT ass brunch in the morning. hells yeah.

now i feel like cracking a beer. right before i start making flashcards for medical terminology.

oh no, that can’t go wrong.

How could I have failed?! I studied my flash cards! I made them that one nigh-oh.

is that like beer before liquor?? beer before latin?? sounds like it could be a good time. plain, white, straight flashcards or those spicy, multicolored, flourescent ones??

i cannot WAIT for brunch. i’m gonna out eat every fool in the room.

today was sposed to be the 340 attempt… but i might put it off til tomorrow. i would love to do it right now but we have guests sleeping over in the guest bedroom where my weights are. it’s supposed to be 105 again this afternoon so no way in hell i’m doing it in that heat. but you never know what i’ll do after a few mimosas.

i’m interested to see how my strength holds up with the fact that i’m having a major hormonal flux with super dooper pms and aunt flo on her way to town. i had to wake my old lady up this morning to show her how hugely swollen my boobies were. my little baby neice kept elbowing them yesterday when we were reading a book and i bout threw her cross the room. =+/

anyways… point was i know a lot of chicks lose strength during certain parts of their cycle… so we’ll see if i notice any difference today.

it could also be a weak attempt since half my calories yesterday were beer.

time for football.

Sigh…football, beer…I am working today. No beer or football for me. We actually HAVE beer for a change. We picked up a case of Blue Moon at the grocery store a few weeks back.

I have heard different things about hormonal cycles–I have heard you are stronger during your period and I have heard the opposite. I am new enough into things that I have not really noticed one way or the other, yet. I do know, that for the first time in my life, I am getting kinda bitchy a few days before my period starts. I always felt a little…superior?..that I did not have any PMS symptoms, thought perhaps the other women were using it as an excuse to be bitches. Now, I am seeing it is real! My hormones have been all out of whack due to enormous stress. While my late husband was being treated for cancer, I got really out of whack. After he died, even more so. I had periods either every ten days or so, or skipped completely for a few months. I thought it might be the dreaded “change” but it did even out some. My dr. said stress can really whack your cycle to hell. Though she used prettier words.

Yikes, I am glad my boobies don’t swell much when I am hormonal. They do get very sensitive but they don’t get bigger, thank goodness. I already have to wear the super industrial strength bras as it is.

CBear, what are you studying medical terminology for? Med school? Nursing school? Curious because my daughter is starting nursing school soon. Well, if she ever gets her shit together and gets registered…as far as beer and studying, when I took educational psychology way back in the day, studies showed that you recalled information best if you could duplicate the circumstances under which you assimilated the information. That means, you should drink beer when you take the test. Tell your prof. it is a scientific perogative.

did you have to say blue moon??? my number one weakness. :swoon:

it’s INCREDIBLE how much of an effect stress has on our bodies. i’ve had people ask me how they can lose the weight… and in some situations i know they are NEVER gonna drop it until their lives take a MAJOR change. stressed out young moms who put on a few and are having relationship struggles that come with that stage of life… seem to have it the worst. breeders! lol

pics or it didn’t happen. =+P

shit the winds are in my favor for the 340 tomorrow. the bengals won, i got a nice cash bonus from my boss tonight, and the weather’s gonna drop 20 degrees tomorrow. i also have the whole day off tomorrow so sushi and appetizers/beer for the game are on my agenda.

motherfucker!

i couldn’t even BUDGE the 340. i tried once. no dice. rested over 5 minutes… gave it another shot. not even close.

oh well.

so coan philippi got me from 305 to 330.

going to be doing a 5/3/1 scheme for the rest of the year.

5 weeks of cutting coming up and then i should have 8-10 weeks to put another 20 lbs on my deadlift and hit my year’s goal.

we’ll see.

i get a super long back rub if the panthers win tonight. go carolina!!

there is absolutely nothing straight about my flashcards.

they’re the ones with holes punched in the top, 3x5, and i make 2 cards out of each 1 (cut em in half).

I ended up listening to my iPod shuffle (bday present from jim. i brag.) and I did catch myself about to write a lyric or two.

iatrogenic- caused by medicine or treatment given to a bitch(scribbled out) patient.

no. no u can’t borrow my flashcards, or study with me.

ok back to you, D.

amazing how 10lbs can be a mindfuck like that.

a trick I started playing with myself (ha. haha.) was to “remember” how it felt the last time i did it, and go through it a couple times in my head before I do. even if I havent before, i feel like i con my muscles into doing some crazy shit.

but you’re out pulling me so maybe i should stop talking outta my ass.

hows my breath?
