anyways we went out to dinner so i had a big fat 22 oz blue moon. yum!! i was pretty good at dinner. had half a cheeseburger… half a baked potato with a dash of sour cream… and a salad.
as far as a normal days eats… i’m a big variety type.
at the moment i’m a bit burned out on both eggs and cottage cheese. i go through total phases where i eat a TON of them or can’t stand them at all. haha
something like:
a cup of cheerios, 2 cups coffee with splenda, 10 oz milk, and a scoop of protein in water.
diet pepsi.
workout (1.5 servings xtend, 3 g. glutamine, 5 g. creatine)
either a protein smoothie (water, ice, strawberries, cupcake batter protein, cottage cheese, blueberries, oatmeal)… or brown rice/meat, tuna sandwich, chicken soup, or chix pasta… with a large glass of spicy v8.
potatoes and meat and salad.
whole bag of cauliflower cooked well and smashed with sharp cheddar or cream cheese and hot sauce and maybe ground beef. another diet pepsi.
hot chocolate protein drink, 1 oz cashews, some sunflower seeds, fish oil.
cottage cheese or chicken breast or something.
and i drink 1.5 - 2 gallons of water in there too.
multi, zima, and lots of masturbation.
that’s about it. =+)
a few things aren’t perfectly “clean”… but plenty good for weight loss when you have a decent amount of muscle mass. the more muscle i have… the easier the fat shedding seems to be. if i’d stay out of the beer i’d be mega lean. haha

a few places make various cake batter proteins. i’m always dissapointed. they sound better than they taste. i don’t really like ANY vanilla based powders. i can only stand them in smoothies or in oj/rootbeer.
i did try a sugar cookie protein last year that i really liked though.
i would mix 4 oz of milk… with half a scoop sugar cookie, half a scoop chocolate… let it get nice and creamy for a couple minutes in the fridge… then fill the cup with boiling water to make a creamy smooth hot drink. mmmmm. sometimes i’d add a tablespoon of instant cappuccino stuff too.
I like your food – including that last item.
thanks for sharing the eats…that is what i consider substantial calories for your lean ass. i’m jealous. i do get the fact that the more lean mass, the more you burn and can eat. i’m definitely not shy on eating. i’m still figuring out what it’s gonna take to get lean. i’m not even discouraged by the extra bloat, perhaps even extra fat from the last 3 weeks of spotty training/inconsistent eats/drinking. i’ll let you know in 2 weeks if i’ve recovered and got back to where i was…

but i was a carb phobe for YEARS. i was doing really good, IMO, for the last 5+ weeks after bringing starchy carbs into my diet. i was leaning up and not bloating or anything. i still am leery of the pastas,rice, grains (even whole wheat ones) but i’ll eat them in small doses. or of course, if i’m splurging, ill throw down on handmade fresh pasta somewhere. i really noticed my muscles hardening up with those carbs PWO. ![]()

you will be. u’ll get back there faster than you think. and i bet as you get closer to ur goals… a week long bloat/binge will be gone in 2 days of cleaning shit up.

i like the carbs around my workouts. especially a good dose of them on leg days. any day i work out i try to have carbs with brekky…carbs right pwo… and then another meal with decent carbs a couple hours later. then i taper them off the rest of the night if i’m cutting… or keep em in if i’m not.
on the creatine… i don’t cycle it. nor do i buy into the megadosing it the first week or whatever.
actually i’ve found creatine doesn’t do much for me. i don’t get any bloating from it either. but i have a shitload and its so cheap and easy that i’ll probably just keep taking the 5 grams a day for as long as i use bcaa’s. which i’m guessing will be many many moons.
I’m back on low carbs atm – the sordid details are now on an FA log – and I’d forgotten what a pain it is. I can eat an apple or a container of plain yogurt, but not both in the same day. Milk in my coffee? Fuggedaboutit. But I’m a lot less likely to eat really stupid shit if I have a hard-and-fast rule.
It’s weird – never thought I could be hungry on >2000 calories. I think hunger adjusts to fit the food available. Last spring I felt stuffed on 1200 calories. I just compensated by sleeping a lot. I didn’t even really lose weight. I feel like what I’m doing now is smarter.

I take creatine - it is cheap so why not. It seemed to work well initially. I came off it to go to Japan (dodgy white powder through customs? I don’t think so) but it doesn’t seem to have had quite the same effect second time around. I don’t get bloating either - I only get that with PMS.
I have some cookies and cream flavour protein. Thought it sounded nice but it’s sickly. Bleh. I prefer chocolate-nut or chocolate-mint. A UK company makes these, before you ask.
