About the bar being cold; unless you’re at 0 degrees (celsius or fehrenheit, yes i know those are two different temps) the bar will warm up pretty quickly without gloves.
Give it about 5-6 sets of 3-5 reps and the bar will be warm, unless your hands have HORRID circulation…
Definitely ditch the gloves, they will eff you over when the weight gets heavier. If you really can’t grab the bar because it’s too cold sigh then put a spaceheater next to your bar and crank it up for 10mins before you go lift. That will probably melt all the skin off your hands and kill all of your nerves. You will never feel the embrace of a women ever again but at least you’ll be able to pull with reckless abandon regardless of bar temperature.
Anyway, form looks really solid. Keep upping the weights, push through your heels the entire time, and ditch the belt except for yout heaviest sets, it will pay off in the long run.
Just going to echo the others, it looks like your main flaw is tipping forward while pulling.
Let me tell you a little story: a few years back I was doing platform pulls without a belt and the bar got a little away from me and I tipped forwards. My L4/L5 discs promptly exploded, sending me into a hell of a lot of pain and derailing my heavy lifting progress until about a week ago. So believe you me, sitting back is CRUCIAL.
Also, honestly, the gloves WILL hold you back. I’ve lifted in freezing cold gyms before. Do a bunch of warmups and the bar will cease to be so cold.
The deadlift is a PULL. You must sit back and drive through your heels(it is obvious you are on the ball of your foot).
You are performing a ‘bend over and pick it up’ not a deadlift.
