DK's Paraworkout Protocol...

I’ve been using CT’s protocol for the last couple of weeks (except for the Surge Recovery), and while I’m waiting for a decent amount of time to really assess the efficacy (or even how much of a change I’ll have for my next show vs last May), I will attest to moving some damn big numbers, getting great pumps, leaving the gym not feeling totally exhausted, and having several regular gym goers comment that I look ‘thicker’ overall.

That being said, I believe the rational behind Biotest/CT making use of more experienced trainers instead of the average gym rat is simply because most people are not training as hard as they truly need to be (I believe we have several threads by PX every week stating this fact -lol), and tend to overestimate their efforts. Not a slight or anything, but if I had a new approach/supplement that I wanted to market, I’d find someone who had already come damn close to maximizing his/her potential, who understood a great deal about training, nutrition, and supplementation, and then let them try my new approach, knowing full well that they will give their undivided, full blown, 100% effort to actually seeing more progress (possibly having thought that they had maxed out already after years of training).

Sorry if you’ve explained it before, but why not Surge Recovery?

and did they give you Anaconda and MAG-10 protein?

Sorry if I missed this, but are you keeping carbs pariworkout only? Or how is the rest of your diet throughout the day? Thanks[/quote]

A big chunk of them are around he para-wo timeframe, but I’m not doing a low or reduced carb diet along with it. I would say my normal diet is ‘reduced carb’ for the most part, I eat mainly following around the precision nutrition way.

Stu, I sent you a PM.

the GPC stuff in your profile pic, is that Alpha-GPC?

it looks like a drink of some sorts, not the bottle I have

Hmnnn I didn’t get the PM… anyway, yeah, it is Alpha-GPC. I don’t know if it’s different from what was previously available as, to be completely honest, I usually can’t afford to try the latest cutting edge stuff and have basically been a Metabolic Drive/Flameout whore pretty consistently.

It is a drink, and actually tastes quite nice with a slight grape flavoring (not as bad a typical cold medicine, but imagine one that you didn’t really mind taking when you needed to). I don’t know if I can attribute my recent strength increases to just the GPC, the entire protocol, or just CT’s approach to training where you stimulate without totally fatiguing your CNS. Guess the real proof will be when I diet down again in the Spring and compare pics with the ones from '09.

interesting that they made Alpha-GPC into a drink… why not just use the pills Biotest? seems like it would be cheaper route

The out of stock Alpha-GPC was in capsule form, just an FYI.
