Disney Needs a Fat Princess

Would a plus-size princess work?

Snow Tight - a chronic over-eater slips into a diabetic coma after a B &J binge.

Beast and the Beast - not that desperate. [/quote]

A moment of silence please…

Blasphemy!

Shrek is Dreamworks. People want a Disney princess… just because.

Also I’m sure they’d say Fiona is originally a beautiful ‘standard’ princess so she doesn’t count.

Am I the only one who kinda wants to bang Fiona?

I bet she’d put it on you, man.

Yes

No.

I would hit it.

Or it would hit me.

I would probably die.

Exhibit B: The Croods.

Stopped watching it when I heard Nicolas Cage’s voice as that indicates a sh*ttty movie but didn’t Disney make it?

Further more, doesn’t Disney own Dreamworks or is it Pixar? Maybe the big boned princesses get outsourced.

From the War on Cancer thread:

"Besides smoking, the most preventable cause of cancer seems to be obesity. It is generally thought that obesity may account for about a third of many cancer types, particularly breast, colon, uterus, kidney and esophagus. Obesity is a risk factor for type II diabetes and these patients are not only more likely to get cancer, but to have poor outcomes. Other speakers will explore the relationship of obesity and cancer, the epidemiology and the science, and see if this lends support to any practical prevention measures. "

I don’t think encouraging obesity will benefit anybody except the players that run our modern Western medicine system. Justification just makes the growing obese population continue with their poor health choices.

It’s Pixar that Disney owns, yes.

I read a while back that the people at Pixar who made Finding Nemo took graduate level marine biology courses in order to make the ocean life as real/accurate as possible. Could you imagine if Pixar made a fat princess movie and made their animators use information like this…:

…in making said fat princess movie? Shit’d be great.

I think it would be hilarious, especially because of outrage that would ensue. I’m sure there would be crying about how plenty of fat people are perfectly healthy and this depiction is an insult. And then there would of course be some sort of ‘Disney I thought she was supposed to be a fat princess, she’s barely even overweight, is this what qualifies as fat in modern society? Disgusting!’ or ‘You said you’d make a fat princess, why can’t she still be beautiful? Fat women can be beautiful too!’ and so on and so forth.

I would laugh so hard at it for like a day and then stop caring while other people kept it raging as some sort of social debate.

Exactly, brother.

high five

Since the apparent goal is to not make people who have unhealthy lifestyles feel bad about themselves, I think we should also have an anorexic princess.

Maybe also a goth one who cuts herself and has locked herself in a tower because the King and Queen don’t understand her.

What about the Transgender Prince that wants to be a Princess?
