I always use the angled bars facing towards the narrow point. I know that is generally pretty standard, but I do occasionally see it being done the other way, facing away from the narrow point. Any thoughts on how facing away affects anything differently in any way?
I’d say facing the narrow end would be better for your shoulders. E.g. if you hold a pencil in each hand and let your arms hang naturally the pencils will point towards each other.
I think there was a similar reasoning behind the dead-squat bar’s handles being put at that angle.
