Jewbacca: This little tip BBB shared with me effected an almost immediate improvement in my body composition (not dramatic, but noticeable) without me making ANY other adjustments to my training or diet, and is VERY simple.
Basically I try and keep the majority of my carbs to pre workout to jack up insulin sensitivity. I’ll have a protein shake (with fiber and no carbs, but maybe some healthy fat) about an hour before training (and will usually, depending on the time of day) have eaten an hour or so before that then when I can feel myself ‘carb depleted’ I’ll eat 2 chocolate bars about ten minutes before training. I don’t actually understand how this works but I lost fat and gained about 12LB/5kg (I can’t remember exactly) and lost fat. I also kept the extra weight whereas before my body-weight was 'yo-yo-ing from just over 15 stone up to 16 stone then back down again.
I know it sounds ridiculous eating chocolate for BBing purposes and to be honest if BBB hadn’t told me to do this I would probably have disregarded the advice, but I am certainly glad I didn’t and I still use this ‘trick’ religiously. Did it earlier today in fact

I have discovered that for me, the perfect cutting food is… Biltong.
You see it’s very chewy, so your jaw muscles actually feel like you’ve had something proper to eat. It is slow digesting and quite filling, since it absorbs water in the stomach.
It is almost exclusively protein, which is great for several reasons, not least of which is the positive effect on satiety.
Just 50g keeps hunger off my back for 1-3 hours, depending.
Oh yes, if you drink leucine 10 mins before biltong, you maximise the anabolic potential.

Is Biltong basically beef jerky? I will snack on this when very lean before a contest and my damn jaw muscles get so pumped and huge , I look like a blow fish.
It is very tight and painful, but you are right it will take away some appetite. I think steak and chewing gum throughout the years has changed my face dramatically…It’s created a weird “diamond” shape to my face lol.

Biltong tends to be more moist than jerky. I get the same ‘face pump’ from jerky that you do, but not so much from biltong.
Actually, while thinking about this, try provigil.
It’s a narcolepsy drug. They gave that stuff to us in Afganistan to make up for lack of sleep. I couldn’t eat to save my life, and I am a bean pole dude that normally eats everything.
Not sure how long you could take it though. I’d be up for 48 hours.
The phen is working very well. No appetite. Apparently, I am annoying while on it, but I think my wife is lying
Because I am doing OK, I’ve upped the GHRP-6 to 2X day, pre-workout and before bed.
Lift 3X, big stuff (deads, squats, bench, pull ups, etc).
Jogging 3X for an hour on other days. Trying to go outdoors, but the weather has been a killer, so it’s been treadmills. Yes, I know steady state cardio is not great, but I am a firm believer than every man should be able to jog 6 miles as part of basic fitness.

Obviously not an appetite suppressant but what do you guys think of injectible L-Carnitine for fat loss?
How necessary is using exo-insulin to move the AA across the membranes?
BBB, any experience?
I asked a mate for his opinion and he said that it did make a small difference, but hard to quantify overall.
I pbviously have experience of using insulin, but I’m not sure in what context you mean. Relating to L-carnitine or something else?
BBB
Yea the insulin in relation to the carnitine.
From my reading, it seems that the issue with L-carnitine is the difficulty of getting the amino acid into the cells. And from my reading, some are suggesting that insulin helps get the AA through the membrane.
It could be a great supplement if endogenous insulin could be used, but an impractical supplement for most if only exo-insulin helps.
Im way out of my league when it comes to interpreting information on organic chemistry, cell biology, and non-AAS hormones.
In any event. A friend of my brewed some (the stuff sold online is ridiculously overpriced; obviously) and will be using it. He also uses insulin though.
Ill try to remember to give an update if there’s any reason to.

Seems like you are throwing everything plus the kitchen sink in there.
Here are two that always work for me.
1 Adderall, kills your appetite dead, and will give you crazy energy. You may decide to build a new house in your spare time as well while you are on it. As your wife is a Doc you shouldn’t have trouble getting a script. Take caution though, use this only as a short term solution, it is not a drug you want to get hooked on.
2 Cabergoline, this one always dulls my appetite in the same way amphetamines do.
I have read some posts that Bushy authored on it with some other desirable side effects.
Add some neurostim from MindNutrition, for added drive and focus in the face of severely depleted calories.
Good tip, but I don’t want to add a stimulant on top of the phentermine.
As an aside, for those looking for non-scheduled items, apparently bupropion (zyban or wellbutrin) coupled with the addiction drug naltrexone, shut down one’s appetite near completely.
bushidobadboy wrote:
I understand, but neurostim is in no way a stimulant, despite the name. It is a nootropic stack that contains an axiolytic which may help with the phentermine sides.
