Dieting -- Appetite Suppression

I’ve done GHRP-6, but it made me hungry, which fucks up the issue. Certainly did wonders for my joints, though.

Jewbacca: This little tip BBB shared with me effected an almost immediate improvement in my body composition (not dramatic, but noticeable) without me making ANY other adjustments to my training or diet, and is VERY simple.

Basically I try and keep the majority of my carbs to pre workout to jack up insulin sensitivity. I’ll have a protein shake (with fiber and no carbs, but maybe some healthy fat) about an hour before training (and will usually, depending on the time of day) have eaten an hour or so before that then when I can feel myself ‘carb depleted’ I’ll eat 2 chocolate bars about ten minutes before training. I don’t actually understand how this works but I lost fat and gained about 12LB/5kg (I can’t remember exactly) and lost fat. I also kept the extra weight whereas before my body-weight was 'yo-yo-ing from just over 15 stone up to 16 stone then back down again.

I know it sounds ridiculous eating chocolate for BBing purposes and to be honest if BBB hadn’t told me to do this I would probably have disregarded the advice, but I am certainly glad I didn’t and I still use this ‘trick’ religiously. Did it earlier today in fact

D’oh, there you go, giving away my golden nuggets again.

BBB[/quote]

And a wonderful golden nugget it is, thank you.

I do something similar because I have to work out in the AM — so my carbs are AM, pre-workout. But I do have carbs at other times.

I need something beyond mere tinkering, alas. To be below 10% BF, it’s going to be 20 pounds to be lost, I suspect. My eight pack is a four pack and my waist is a 36, instead of a 33ish.

A traditional diet is probably in the cards for me, as that is what my wife will do, and it’s much easier to do these things togehter.

It seems that GH (or a peptide) coupled with a calories deficit would be super-wonderful.

Now, keeping my weak-willed ass in the calorie-deficit is the issue.

Another very simple tip I find works well is to keep loads of apples around me. They’re filing and low calorie, you can ‘munch’ throughout the day between meals whilst not going overboard on the calories, and they are surprisingly filling to.

Honestly, the only thing that keeps me in a calorie deficit is knowing that I’m getting up in front of strangers, wearing only one small piece of clothing.

I sent you an email; will get photo of car ASAP. I am in the wrong town and have to dust her off. (She – the car — is in Phoenix.)

It’s theoretically possible for me to be in a contest — I do have the size, albeit not the leaness — but I won’t shave myself and my nickname is “Jewbacca” for a reason. I’d probably hit by a tranq dart and dragged to the zoo.

I chiefly want to do it because my wife has a Hulk/Sampson fetish, I think. That, and I am a cheap fucker and am not going to buy new custom suits.

My dream would be to combine GH and Phen for the calorie reduciton.

I fully admit being a complete pussy when it comes to food. I train 6X week, hard and smart.

But I also will eat and drink anything (kosher) that is put in front of me.

Fast days (which we have for religious reasons) are OK, because everyone is doing it.

The first time I took EC I went about 40 hours before I realized I hadn’t eaten any food. It’s the only legitimate drug that has made me completely care less about food.

Ephedrine / Caffeine? Never heard of EC, I kept a keen eye on this thread, as dieting season looms on the (near) horizon. I too have a horrible time controlling my appetite in caloric deficit, especially in the initial weeks of beginning to diet.

I just hate the feeling of being hungry… Maybe I’m just a pussy, who knows.

In my experience, Phentermine kills your appetite, you won’t want to snack, and you will not be hungry. You will lose weight. You will also be incredibly moody, and everything and anything will piss you off. Plus Hightower bit the dust on it.

Yes, ephedrine + caffeine. I used it at the tail end of my cut and it helped considerably. Definitely took the edge off. I didn’t have any hunger issues while taking it. The only problem is it made me feel like a crackhead because I had so much energy. It also gave me some difficulty sleeping.

Jew,

If you truly are an “mesomorph” then you should be able to cut BF relatively easy. If you are not opposed and willing to use supps and rxmeds then yo will speed up the results even faster.

If you don’t want to starve — then do not starve yourself. Take things slower, and yes as BF% drops, ghrelin increases, RMR increases, and activity increases and then you begin turning into a fat burning machine.

At that point things like nicotine gum, glucomannan fiber, PEA’s and copious amounts of water come in handy.

ECA is great and so is GH (if you have legit product), but very expensive and not necessary just for “abs.”

Ipamorelin + grf-129 while fasted morning cardio could treat test subjects well

I have discovered that for me, the perfect cutting food is… Biltong.

You see it’s very chewy, so your jaw muscles actually feel like you’ve had something proper to eat. It is slow digesting and quite filling, since it absorbs water in the stomach.

It is almost exclusively protein, which is great for several reasons, not least of which is the positive effect on satiety.

Just 50g keeps hunger off my back for 1-3 hours, depending.

Oh yes, if you drink leucine 10 mins before biltong, you maximise the anabolic potential.

BBB, another golden nugget. You’re just a genius. It’s even kosher.

http://www.joburgkosher.com/

I’m on day two of the Velocity Diet. Chewing on two cigars a day. Lost 1kg in one day — water retention lost, no doubt, due to no booze.

I do have GHRP-6 handy. Because it makes the hunger WORSE, using it at night prior to bed, although it makes me have to poop in the middle of the night.

Ah, I am either dieting or I am not. I declared f—g war. There is no “slow” for me.

I rip band-aids off.

I don’t have the time or schedule other than to go nuclear.

Velocity for the first part, modified Adkins the second half (basically “green face” diet).

We bought 2 tickets to Maui and a deposit at the Four Seasons resort in 60 days to keep us on target.

Is Biltong basically beef jerky? I will snack on this when very lean before a contest and my damn jaw muscles get so pumped and huge , I look like a blow fish.

It is very tight and painful, but you are right it will take away some appetite. I think steak and chewing gum throughout the years has changed my face dramatically…It’s created a weird “diamond” shape to my face lol.

I understand. I have done extreme crash diets so I know both ends of the spectrum. I just favor slower diets to keep muscle tissue from catabolizing, and some times actually accruing tissue while losing BF%.

But if shedding fat pronto is the main goal and not muscle fullness/retention etc… then kill it.
