You macro percentages look ok, but the actual quantity of food is really low. What do you weigh, how tall, and how much are you wanting to lose?

Also- why are you sleeping until 11am? Are you in college or something?

im 6"2 and weigh 183 about a 13% body fat, i wake up that late because i sleep reallyy late

6’-2"

183lb

13% BF

And you’re cutting? Something doesn’t add up. Once you cut- are you going to have anything to show off?

Knock it off. Wake up earlier.

im not in this to show off, i wanna be in the best possible shape for basketball, so i wanna cut down my body fat to about 10% with a diet. im still gonna be lifting heavy throughout my diet…any other thoughts? i mean i dont think this is a stupid idea

No if it’s for a sport it’s ok. Just make sure you are eating enough. What do you think your daily caloie level will be based on your menu above?

If I ate like that I`d kill myself…

You could add an onion, spinach, garlic and mushrooms or even some low fat ham to your eggs.

Not only would that be healthier it would actually taste like something.

And that is just your breakfast.

Food does NOT have to taste like shit to be good for your or further your goals.

Really.

I mean it.

day 2 (drank nothing but water again)

-oatmeal
-oranges, peaches, banana
-multi v

-protein shake
-brocolli, carrots

-(grapes in between)

-1 home-made wheat pizza
-3 chicken breasts
-salad
-8 almonds
-flax seed fish oil

-peanut butter sandwich
-watermelon, grapes

-protein shake
-1 cup of fat free cottage cheese

better?

i also played ball for like 3 hours and lifted heavy for upperbody

how old are you? If you are still in highschool you could get to 10% bodyfat by growing muscle.

Macronutrition breakdown? Calories? No, I do not want to do it myself.

I think you are going down the low-fat, lots of cardio route, which IMO is less then optimal but MIGHT work if you are still young.

Veggies. Where? Don`t see them, except some Broccoli.

You had Chicken breast with rice, could have mixed it with some veggies and some healthy oils.

Allready told you what I think of your breakfast.

All in all I have the feeling that you have an ill thought out plan and that you could improve your performance right now by eating better and learning about meal timing without any change in BF whatsoever.

Plus a few cheap supplements like Creatine, Fish oil, and ZMA.

so your saying with the plan above im gonna lose muscle also? i mean 3 days into i can already see some results of my six pack startin to show more… what u mean im tryin to get more carbs and less fat, im just gettin the carbs from mostly fruits and veggies…im tryin to go high protein in every meal. You guys think my carbs are too high? They are mostly complex carbs

I think you would be better off trying to build musle and work on your explosiveness, vertical jump and so on, than to try to lose some fat.

I have no idea what your macronutrient breakdown is and how many calories you eat but it looks awfully low for how “heavy” you are and how much you train.

the mostly fruits and veggies thing is something you can probably skip if you are 18? and working out constantly, as in 3 hours a day?

All in all I doubt that you spend your time wisely trying to lose 3% body fat.

i am working on my explosivenesss and speed and all that, im doing everything the same, i just wanna shape up my diet a little to cut down some fat, thats it

I am really confused man and I get paranoid about this kinda stuff. I wanan do it right. All i wanan do is cut some body fat off. I am still lifting heavy on upper and lower and also sprinting. I just changed up my diet plan. So your sayin Im not getting enough nutrients, what should I add to it so i can correct this.

let us try again:

I do not know if you get enough or too little of anything because I do not know what you are trying to eat each day when it comes to macronutrutients (protein, fat, carbohydrates) and calories and neither do you.

That, in itself, is bad.

So, learn how to do a proper food log and you have a base to start from.

im just trying to get alot of protein, carbs i keep to a minimum, only complex carbs, and fats very little

Wow,

Ok first off, you arent getting lots of protein. You need some kind of animal protein in each meal. Dump the peanut butter sandwich.

You arent getting lots of complex carbs. Fruits, are simple sugars. Fructose=monosacaccharide.

Before you are asking people to give you all this information, you need to read the information on this site. Its good that you are eating good food, but you need to be more aware of whats in that food.

what kind of animal protein would u suggest in each meal?

hey guys lately ive been weighin my self and ive gained like 2-3 pounds (and im this diet too) but looking in the mirror it seem slike my pac is starting t oshow more and more do u think ive lost fat and added muscle because i have been lifting heavy while doing this? please help cuz im getting very paranoid sorry
