Did a great combo Friday

Maybe some of you have tried this and it’s old news, but I tried it for the first time last Friday, and I was still feeling the effects as of last night (Monday). My Friday workout consists of ab work, deadlifts, bench press, and rows. Well, I was running short on time, so I decided to do pull-overs instead of the rows. What I did was dumbell bench, and on the last set (taken to concentric failure), I dropped one db and did pull-overs with the other (getting the one into position was quite a challenge in itself). I felt it in the lats, appropriately, but it absolutely blew my triceps apart! It was such a great combination. Did two sets of pullovers and I was DONE for the day. If you haven’t tried this combo, give it a go.

I know what you mean, any time I superset Dumbbell excercises, my forearms and triceps really feel it. I fared pretty well on a HIT program (Gasp!) that was one giant set. That really hit my forearms (lagging) and triceps.

I definitely agree that if you’re looking for a new meaning to the word pain, give brider’s combo a go.
