I’m diabetic, badly controlled unfortunately. If my blood sugar is very high, would I need to carb load before weight training? Also, when would be a good time to work out in relation to taking insulin injection? I’m an overweight, 56-year-old newbie.
You’re better off getting advice from the forum. Thibs may weigh in, but he’s not diabetic. Nor am I.
Why?
I think you’d be best served by eating right and working out three or four times a week, even if it’s just a 25 minute walk. Lose weight, eat right.
