I honestly admire your commitment to getting that shit done on your off days, though. I can usually come up with every excuse I got to not be doing anything extra.
I want to head to Classic World Cup in June. The only way I’ll be doing that is if I win Juniors and the 105kg open winner (assuming they out total me) doesn’t want to go. Just winning Juniors will be tough enough and will require perfect execution to do.

Deadlifts
145kg x 5 x 2 sets

Slightly changed the deadlifts from boxes. The 145 and 165 should have been 140 and 160, butttt I forgot to count the collar weight lol.
I did a lot of this sumo, some of it conventional. My sumo is currently as good as my conventional, if not better. I chalk to up to not having deadlifted at all in 7 weeks. I can tell my lower back was tired, making the conventional feel like death.
Incline bench
60kg x 4 x 6 sets
Off to NFLD tomorrow morning, bright and early 5am. I get to train with Tom Kean on Friday though, so that’s pretty sweet. He was the M1 Champion of Champions at IPF Masters Worlds

Squatted:
Never squat to the plan when you just spent 5 hours driving, hour on a plane, had the biggest morning of your life to date, and have hardly eaten all day.
Something like
160kg x 3 x 2 sets
170kg x 3 x 5 sets
Only did 4 sets on the planned 170kg. I REALLY strained my right quad or hip flexor or something. It hurt all god damn weekend. Since getting home I’ve used the TENS unit on it twice, probably go one more time before bed. It’s starting to feel a lot better, but squatting tomorrow is tentative.
