It sucked.
My friend lived in PEI for two years, her name is Jill, do you know her?
Just because we’re from PEI doesn’t mean we know EVERYONE from there ( although, Dave and I DO know each other)
How did you know there was literally only one person with the extremely uncommon name of Jill living on PEI?

Took 205 for a 5kg PB. Smoked it again, two whites and a red.

122.5kg
2.5kg PB, smoked it too.

Warm ups felt okay, did half plate jumps up to 200kg.
Opener

240kg…well, it was going to be 240kg for a 2.5kg PB. I got convinced to go 260kg for a potential second place. Got it to mid shin and that’s it. Oh well. I think 245 would have been my max today
Total
572.5kg for a 37.5kg PB on my total
God damn posting system.
Also, videos to follow. Probably pictures too.
Back to “training:”
Moved apartments all fucking day. What the fuck was I thinking setting the move day right after the meet? Dumb fuck.
Anyway, in actuality training is going to look like this:
For the next 1 week:
Active recovery on days I can make it into the gym. No Barbells will be touched
The next 6 weeks after that:
Hypertrophy time. Going to do Big Beyond Belief one a day/6 days a week template.
After that,
Back to Sheiko. Doing numbered Sheiko programs (But but but it’s for a specific lifter at a very specific time!) worked very, VERY well for my squat. I’m not going to change that.
The next week will be sometime in Jan, I believe. It isn’t set yet, but it will be PEI provincials which are typically in January. That will give me enough time to do at least 29 and 30, with the last 2 weeks of 32. I’ll be able to plan better when the day is set.
Obviously, my bench did not improve much, if really at all. I am hoping Big Beyond Belief helps it out. Regardless, I believe I am going to go back onto Sheiko bench. It injured me before, so I will be changing it slightly.
Close grip only. Keep my upper back accessory day in IMMEDIATELY and at all times in the training cycle. Finally, STRETCH.
YA, that’s all. weo.
WOW GOOD JOB!!! Meet sounds like it went pretty damn good!! i am looking forward to video’s!! What is big beyond belief and why are you going off sheiko for a while? Is it to kinda like rest up a bit or something???
UMMM Should I do sheiko to prep for my meet? I am going nutso…
Dec 1st
Tomorrow is sept 10th.
SO however many weeks that is…?
I NEEDA PLAN STAN
Meet looks like it went well dave. I don’t really see the point in running 29 though, It has such low volume especially since your taking a week to do recovery work. I’d hope right into it personally I’d jump straight into 37. then 39,30,32 or 37,30,32. I personally like 39 after a meet since the first two weeks are fairly light and get harder the last two weeks. Just food for thought.

BBB (not Wendler BBB) is more of a body building program. I think you can google Big Beyond Belief pdf and it’s the first hit. I’m hoping it will put some mass on, even just a little bit as it’s only 6 weeks that I’m running it, so that I can get closer to 105kg. I really should be a 120kg lifter, but a full 105kg will be good enough for now.
Also… I have little girl arms. So I hope if I train them in a body building style manner they’ll actually grow. Which is for both aesthetic and benching reasons. lol
12 weeks, counting this week and meet week. So 11 training weeks counting this week.
You could run Sheiko, ya. No reason not to give it a go! Or try last two weeks of 32 for the meet prep, 30 then 31 before that. That’s 4 plus 4 plus 2 is 10 weeks. So start next week ![]()

I’m really happy about that squat. Especially the ease in which it came up. 500 raw soon hopefully!
I see your point entirely. However, I’m running the 6 weeks of Big Beyond Belief before going back to Sheiko. By that point I’m a little worried I won’t be used to the Sheiko style training and that I’ll want the intro/base phase of 29. We’ll have to see I guess, I might just ditch it so that I get a month extra real work in.

They’re really no point in trying to get bigger. If your body is feeling beat up take 5-10% off for a week and keep moving though it. Cause sheiko does make you bigger
Sheiko didn’t change my weight or body composition much at all. This is the current plan, I might end up changing it by the end of my recovery week.
I really want my bench up. The only thing I haven’t really tried for bench is a body building type approach to it. It’s only 6 weeks, not like it will make or break my career.

So I do 4 weeks of 30 4 weeks of 31 and the end two weeks of 32? What is this CMS or something meet pre cycle thingie?? Is 32 a meet prep version??
Well I say 4 weeks because that’s actually how long the cycle is lol.
32 is meet prep, ya. CMS is a much harder set of cycles designed for more experienced lifters. You can google Sheiko and find the T-Nation article on it. That article has a table that outlines lifting levels and where CMS falls.
30-31-32 is an option. Could also try 37-30-32 or 39-30-32 as Prodi suggested. There probably isn’t really a right answer.
Yesterday training
Lots of foam rolling, lacrosse balling, stretching
Pull ups supersetted with DB Press
EZ Bar curls supersetted with 1 arm band pushdowns

I think I started associating Prodiboy with your actual name. I then got confused as to why you would need to resubscribe. I’m dumb.
