Develop Entire Body With Four Lifts

Dan John wrote in one of his article that nate robinson used to build his great body in off-season with 2 supersets-
front squats and stiff-legged deadlifts for lower body

benches and chins for upper body

he said he executed supersets for many sets and felt his whole body grew.
he said just toss out all the extras.
whats youur opinion?

There is a time for everything.

And sometimes, minimal is best. I believe he was also doing 8+ sets of each exercises, and he only did this for a short period of time.

After a high-volume program, something simple like this or 5x5 is a good idea and a nice change of pace.

But it’s not the be-all, end-all to training.

anybody have a link to this article. I’d be interested in giving something like a try. well actually the movements are obvious but what about the rep scheme? 8x3?
