Does anyone know what kind of back support this is and where i can get one?
I also have seen strongmen wearing these blue thick shorts, i cant tell if they are compression shorts or more of a powerlifting brief. I was wondering what type of shorts these are too. I see dereks have a symbol on them but i dont know what it is

is great place to get them. The Gillingham bros run the site. Pro storngmen/powerlifters/grip guys, dad played NFL etc. Best customer service in the strength game.
The knee sleeves (hard to get the “old style” blue ones, then now come in grey, little bit different) offer a little support, same as the shorts. They do help to keep joints etc. warm. Material is similar to a wet suit. (neoprene). I use my knee sleeves for any squatting/jerking workouts, plus any carry events. The shorts I use on event training days and contests.
Highly reccommended.
The “belt” offers some suuport too. Many big guys will wear the Rehband belt with a regular belt over it for heavy events.
More flexible than a regular belt, more give, less support I think.
