The reason why I think that PEDs is such a little kid move to compare it to a ‘spygate’ or ‘deflate gate’ is because players have taken PEDs themselves throughout the league throughout the years. Every team has had players take them on their roster. It’s just that the organization was not behind it. Sure they might turn a blind eye to what a player takes on his own time, but they are not supplying the player with the PEDs. That player is going out and getting them and taking them on his own. A lot of times the players aren’t taking them for the purpose of helping their team, they are taking them to help their wallet. Or because they love the game and won’t to do whatever it takes to excel at it. Regardless it is a stupid comparison in my opinion.

“Oh every team cheats, I mean watch any game and you can see a lineman holding on almost every play.”

The gates are examples of how it looks like the Patriots have a culture of cheating.
You completely just fucking contradicted yourself.

PEDs, otherwise known as breaking the rules, aka cheating, is cool because “that’s just football”.

But the pats filming just like every other team was up until the game before, and as of right now, totally made up allegations of ball pressure, have a culture of cheating?

You aren’t trolling dude… What you’re doing is called rationalizing your bias.
I’m rationalizing my bias? You just said that every team in the NFL was doing the same thing that the Patriots were doing during ‘spygate’

I’ll just leave on this one,

Whatever helps you sleep at night man…
Every team was doing what the Pats got caught doing during SpyGate. The “league rules” that the Patriots broke were implemented at the start of the 2007 season. The Pats got caught during the first game of the season.

Do you actually know any facts? Or are you just spitfiring out of your ass like all the other non Patriot fans.
So, both of y’all are saying that spygate and the punishment was a result from only their 2007 infractions? And not from the rules that were broken from the start of Belichick’s coaching career for the Patriots surrounding illegal video recording of opponents? And that every other team was doing the same thing prior to the 2007 season?

And you both say I don’t know the facts? WTF is going on in here?

If im remembering correctly, the taping itself wasn’t illegal, but the area they did it from was. I think it’s that sidelines and basically places that coaches/players/staff normally are is illegal, but in the stands is legal.

…but it doesn’t sound like a very newsworthy story when you put it that way.

I think the biggest scandal of the year for the Pats should be the LeGarrette Blount tampering. I mean, come on Beans. Even you have to admit something completely shady went down with him ending up back in New England.

HEY!! Don’t start that shit now otherwise I’m going to jump in on it too. The Skins and Cowboys both got fucked in the ass by Mara of NYG. Our financials were approved during an uncapped year, fully disclosed, but then they decide to go back and decide it wasn’t right and give us a cap hit.

In my part of New England people are just disgusted by the Patriots organization right now. Piles of Brady jerseys are being burned in the street and you can’t set foot into a bar without seeing rows of Patriots fans hanging their heads in shame and drowning their sorrows with booze. You can tell from the look on their faces that they just can’t fathom why a team would do this. Who can they root for now? Not New York, that bridge has already been burned. Montreal doesn’t even have a football team, so that’s out-of-the question. Maybe the Lions, I don’t know.

I don’t think the Patriots fan base will survive this existential crisis. Nobody has all the answers at this point.

haha. Maybe, I don’t know.

They should have signed him in the first place.

Like I said, you’re delusional.

Read more, speak less.

Guy from team who has been mostly irrelevant for two decades (since they quit allowing teams to buy championships with the salary cap) is really going to question the legacy of the best team of the past two decades. Really???

Cowboys 5-3 in Superbowls, 35-27 in the playoffs, relevant competitively from 1966-1996
Patriots 4-4 in Superbowls, 30-17 in the playoffs, relevant competitively from 1996-2015, plus '85

I mean come on mbdix, at least try to learn your stuff.

Come on dude, everyone knew what the deal was with that, Schneider and Jones just thought they could take a stab at buying one in one year and it fucked them up.

It’s without question that the Cowboys have to build on last years success. I firmly believe that we have the right people in place to get back to where we rightfully belong.

The Patriots have had tremendous success for a very good stretch. It’s a shame for that franchise and their players that these scandals are tarnishing what they have accomplished.

If fans of the Patriots don’t give a shit about these scandals and it doesn’t bother them at all, then so be it. I knew the history surrounding their “cheating” before the superbowl took place and still couldn’t get myself to root for the Seahawks and they have a Texas Ex on their roster. I really don’t give a shit that they won, they got 4 now, very impressive. They don’t have 5 yet, that is what they are now shooting for.

The Cowboys are shooting for #6 right now, to tie those fucking Steelers bastards.

I don’t know if every team was doing it. But the smart ones were. The video taping pre 2007 was not illegal, but after it became illegal the Pats continued to do it. It was of my understanding that it did not become illegal until the 2007 season.

He had to clear waivers before the Pats resigned him. That means 30 other teams could have picked him up, but didn’t. And the Steelers chose to cut him, they didn’t have to. They could have fined him, sat him, then traded him.

All true. But if you are going to be honest, you have to admit that no team in their right mind would have signed Blount after his issues with the Steelers. That is unless they had already told him they wanted him back and knew he was acting a fool to intentionally get cut.

Beans,

You don’t need help. You’re 100% right on all this.

The football had nothing to do with Blount running for 148 and 3 TD’s, or Brady going 13-15 n the 4th quarter last Sunday.

Get over it people, our team won yours didn’t.

Nothing is going to come of this, except the NFL will have egg on their face.

45,42,43,59 are the points the Pats have hung on the Colts the past 4 games. Colts GM has sour grapes.

But what’s worse? A football with a little less air or TANKING as season? Remember Suck For Luck?

I agree with most of this.

Bottom line, when you line up against a team, you beat their ass, irrelevant of the inflation of footballs or not.

Personally, I don’t give a fuck what the other team does, because my mentality is that I am going to steamroll their ass anyway.

I will tell that mother fucker across from me what I am going to do to him, and do it to him anyway.

The Pats lined up and beat the ass of their oppponents, bottom line. If you don’t like it, play harder, do better, quit whining, and find a way to beat them.

What’s the latest on this deflating the ball, I haven’t heard or seen anything solid come out of this.
