Decent Gym in Richmond, VA

I’ll be in Richmond on Saturday and Sunday and was wondering if someone could recommend a decent gym? A gym with a GHR would be ideal. Thanks in advance.

Sorry we missed you, but it was a great meet.

Be sure to call the next time you’re in town and hopefully schedules will line up better.

Please, excuse the plug, but I should mention that we’re at 1600-J Roseneath Road in the city now. We moved from Wilkinson last year.

can anyone say a little more about the weight room?

do they have OL equipment?

what’s the atmosphere?

In short, TWR is a 1500 sq ft training center. We have some great powerlifters, strongmen, and a few that compete in OL, too, and of course all of the requisite facilities for them.

As for atmosphere, people accuse this place of being “hardcore” all of the time, which is fine, but you don’t have to be a monster to train here.

We don’t do contracts or enrollment fees and I’ve never accepted payment from anyone their first time here.
