I love whole milk so it was very easy for me. it changed my physique dramatically. In a little over a month I went from having to tell people that I worked out, to being asked how to work out. Take some fiber with your dinner and have at it. I ts only for a month any way
Wheen I bulked up from 130 to 174 in a little less than a year, I used mostly fruits on top of my diet to get the extra calories (some 15 or so servings a day, gives 500-600 grams of carbs). Provided you’re getting close to the maximum amount of protein your body can use, it would be fine to get the extra calories from whatever you want. Just make sure it’s calorically dense, is not filled with simple carbs/HFCS or its nutrition facts look like a chemical experiment.

Every time I see something like this, it makes me cringe. If most people saw a chemical breakdown of all the stuff that a piece of fruit was made up of, a lot of those people would be afraid to eat it because it’s too “sciency”. Nobody wants to put “chemicals” in their body.
(That being said… it was a good post)

what makes up a piece of real food naturally chemically speaking will never have the same bad effects such as BHT or the like.
It’s just an over-simplistic way of saying avoid chemicals that shouldn’t be there in the first place.

I agree, and it really is an effective rule of thumb… it’s just, sometimes I wish the science education of the average person was a bit higher than it actually is.

It would be interesting to see how many of those survive the pH and enzymes of the stomach/SI. I honestly don’t know, but I suspect that a good amount of proteins/cells are altered by the adult GI tract.
A reason why the breast milk comparison isn’t great is that infants have a much higher pH of the stomach which is why they benefit from (and need) the intact immunoglobulins.

Good luck with that. Common sense and critical thinking are a thing of the past

Exactly, there are tons of chemicals in all raw, healthy food, however if we supplement this food with preservatives or exogenous hormones or the like, then does the problem occur. Nutrition facts include only the extra chemicals anyway, the raw material is simply listed as peanuts or tuna or whatever.
And incidentally, people are much more likely to ingest chemicals named fructose, cellulose, flavonoids etc. rather than aminocyclopyrachlor, acesulfame-k or stearyl monoglyceridyl citrate ![]()

Of course since people actually go grocery shopping with their smartphones, they should know better. Maybe we need a “google your foods” campaign?

Please for the actual love of fucking god no. There needs to be way less people in the grocery store on their cell phones, not more.

Lol. I pretty much only shop in the dead of night, at 24 hour places while they’re stocking their shelves. I hate shopping when there’s people in my way.

That’s the way to do it. I used to be a night owl myself. Now if I’m not in bed by 10pm I’m grumpy. Though people on cell phones in my way make me grumpy too. Damned either way.
screw you guys, I keep my grocery list on my phone. So suck it.

Does any of that shit really matter? Is it present to any significant degree in milk in the first place? Would you get enough of it in other parts of your diet regardless? Do you even fucking need it in your diet to begin with? Does cooking eggs and meat and all other foods “ruin” them too?
It just doesn’t seem important man.[/quote]
Of course you don’t need it. The raw milk mafia never shits on people who don’t drink milk, only people who drink pasteurized milk. Shouldn’t those people also be low on luminal fibronectin?

I realize adult lactose tolerance makes Scandinavians freaks, but let people find this shit out on their own.
OP: Suddenly adding a gallon of whole milk a day is a bit like pushing the gas pedal all the way down. There’s a more sensible middle ground. Accelerate slowly and see what happens.
Common sense and logic are not facts. Milk in context: allergies, ecology, and some myths
