So I finally got around to the new Dying Fetus. It’s solid, and a return to form. John is a fucking riff factory.

Silencer - Sterile Nails and Thunderbowels
Yeah, I know they’re not “death” metal…but Silencer was a great band that was highly underrated.[/quote]
You should hear Triste(USA) cover [not to be confused with Trist(CZE)]
It is the same but i liked the vocals in the cover more, not that much upfront.

Yeah, I like the Triste version a little better as well. The guitars sound more raw and ghostly…and you’re right, the vocals do sound more balanced in the mix.
Toxic Holocaust - Wild Dogs
Toxic Holocaust - Nuke the Cross
These guys are more punk influenced thrash metal, but I still like it nonetheless since I like a lot of a punk/Oi bands.
I’m actually seeing Cock Sparrer tonight here in Chicago. 20 dollar tickets but I’m still pretty excited.
