From most of the “metal” boards I visit, Slayer bashing is in FULL effect. Those songs sound pretty solid, although it is arguable that Slayer has been disappointing somewhat with their past few albums.
I don’t care what the “metal snob elite” wants to think though, I’m still buying the album because, shit, it’s fucking Slayer.
Havent seen any gojira posted yet but i might have missed it. Metal band from france(yes i know but give them a chance), fucking brutal. One of my favorites.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned Brother Von Doom.
They are awesome. They have a new vocalist now, he does tattoos right up the street from where I live.

Wasn’t impressed with it, to be honest, not at all.
They’re just on autopilot (and have been for ages now) if you ask me (like many, many other formerly great bands too).
Then again, I’ve never been much of a slayer fan in the first place.
Kind of off-topic, but anyway: Listened to the new Rammstein (yes, yes, I know)… Their drummer is actually playing the double-bass regularly now, or trying to.
I’m waiting for some tremolo-picked pseudo death/black riffs to appear on the next album, or the one after that.
They might actually turn into a real metal band at some point…
Only problem is that by then they’ll all be 80-90 years old or so
I’m seeing Nunslaughter on Thursday, along with Lair of the Minotaur and Christ Beheaded.
Aside from that, I’m a big fan of In Flames - The Jester Race, so I grabbed At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul’s album, along with Dark Tranquility - The Gallery. Good fuckin’ stuff.
Tell me about it. Firs time i saw them live i had to crawl around on the floor looking for what was left of my melted brain! Small club gig with room for about 300 people, and over 1500 showed up! I was front and center banging my bloody knuckles into the monitors on stage. Most intense, and possibly best convert i have ever attended.
Great guys too. Talk to them before and after every show they play here in norway.

Okay, first, has anyone else ordered shirts from Unique Leader? I ordered some, seriously, like two months ago and haven’t seen shit. I should probably call them and say “Yo motherfuckerz… I have my receipt.”
Also, here’s a tasty little band I found from Unique Leader. I don’t know how I hadn’t heard them before recently…

I’ve ordered shirts from there. They do take their sweet ass time, I waited about 6 weeks for mine. I didn’t like them though, they use those jerzees shirts with the neckline that is way too big and they print “unique leader” on the bottom back.
