They’re coming here to Dallas on June 21. Along with Ensiferum (my favorite folk metal band). I’m excited…
I love metal. But I’m actually getting into rapcore lol.

I KNEW someone was going to post this… Shits in quicktime though, It’s annoying to have to click on each song to play… Anyway…
The redo of Marital Decimation is the fucking BEST song on this album… I can’t fucking stand it… I’m listening to it as I type this… I have a fucking boner right now… This is one of the songs that made me fall in love with Suffocation… AAAHHHH!
I already pre-ordered the cd and tshirt combo, so I don’t feel guilty about downloading this. I think the hype was warranted, this is a great album and I have only listened to it once already. I want to go kill someone now… ![]()
Suffocation bitches, respect.

This song is in my car and on my workout MP3 player… I love this one. Torture Killer is the band that SFU stopped being a long time ago.
These guys get a lot of shit for being wannabe SFU, but anyone negelecting them like that obviously hasn’t listened to them enough… They are a tight band with some brutal songs.
Funny, I always say that Torture Killer is the band that SFU stopped being a LONG time ago… I sound like a hypocrite sometimes… Anyway, Sewers is a fucking awesome album and it proves to all the haters that Torture Killer can do more that simply imitate SFU.
Bloodbath, Suffocation…
While I like both bands, yes, I’ve found most of their stuff to be pretty redundant.
Bloodbath is a little tame for me…
Suffocation has lost a lot of their edginess. Good to hear their new stuff is a bit more ‘evil’ again, but I just can’t deal with mid-tempo bands anymore.
Instead, let’s remember the good times.
Jesus Wept - - YouTube
Infecting the Crypts - - YouTube
Human Waste - - YouTube
Catatonia - Suffocation - Catatonia - YouTube
Baphomet
Valley of the Dead - Baphomet - Valley of the Dead - YouTube
And because this IS the death metal thread, mothefuckers,
Anally Injected Death Sperm - Goratory - Anally Injected Death Sperm (A.I.D.S.) - YouTube
Citizens of the Cyclopean Maze - Coldworker - Citizens of the Cyclopean Maze - YouTube
Farewell to the Flesh - - YouTube
Karmy.Bloody.Karma. - - YouTube
With the exception of Infecting the Crypts, you posted midpaced suffocation songs…lol

Ensiferum was amazing until Jari left. I followed Jari to Wintersun who I believe is way better than Ensiferum ever was before, and ever will be.

It has some pretty decent tracks on it… I’m not exactly blown away though. Production only slightly different from the previous album, too.
I really think the drummer needs start doing some new stuff for once.
Overall, ok album. Nothing special though, I liked the last one better for some of it’s songs.
I don’t know if these have been posted already, but it seems to be the kind of death metal that I am into.
At the Gates-The Burning
Dark Tranquility-Therein
I’m seeing the Dillinger Escape Plan tonight. Not death metal but they’re great.

Greg Puciato is pretty swole for a vegitarian.
Their old stuff was okay because of the technicality… I wouldn’t mind seeing them live, though. I hear they put on a wild show.

They’re a fun band.
The number twelve looks like you played with them, too. I’ve never seen so many gayass fashion girl jean pierced homos in my life but dillinger was insane. They have a guy on stage that goes around fixing everything they break. Guitarists were hanging upside down flipping and shit. And yes, their singer is fuckin jacked.

Agreed. Wintersun is really good. They’re actually what got me started on listening to folk metal a few of years ago. Their songs have some incredible guitar in them.
Does anyone listen to much local music in their area? If so, does anyone know the names of an exceptional death or black metal local band?

Hmmm, Necrophagist, Ahab, (Kreator - mh…), Obscura? ![]()
I don’t think they’re actually from my Area though… But hey, Germany is so small that it doesn’t matter, right? ![]()
