I may have missed it if someone else has already suggested this: if you’re not already use a mixed grip (pronated/supinated) switching between sets/reps.
It may just be me, but does anyone else feel like they’re going to tear the goddamn thumb out of socket when using the hook grip described?
I’ll stick to one over, one under for now.
And like everyone else said, get chalk, all the cool kids are using it.
No offense, but you’re just weak all over. Unless you’re very small, an uber beginner or a female that number is just too small.
If you can only triple a couple hundred pounds, then your other lifts probably aren’t stellar either. When you get stronger all over, in all your lifts, you’ll be able to hold the bar better.
For godsake don’t use wrist wraps.
That’s a sure fire way to get more of a disbalance in your hand back strength ratio.
Do chins and shrugs and bent over rows and some of the other stuff the guys pointed out.
170 pounds is not a weight for wraps.
Zeb’s right, this is a good one but myself I get better results from slightly shorter sets, 10-15 sec.
Experiment to see what works for YOU.
