Deadlift Shoe Recommendations?

Been using converse for the longest time. I need new deadlift shoes. I was thinking about the adidas combat 4 or 5s. Any recommendations?

I have the Sabo Deadliftint shoes, however I only got them cause the Mark Bell Reebook ones weren’t in my size. The sabos are good, I use them for all my workouts with no problems.

Any reason the Converse aren’t working for you any more?

For years I did my weight lifting in my tai chi shoes. They had the flattest soles of any shoes I’ve ever worn.

I can’t speak for the OP, but I dumped the converse after many years of lifting in them. I just wanted to see what lifting shoes would do for me. I feel like deadlift shoes stick to the floor more, although that could be more of a mental thing.

They are so flimsy and have no grip on the floor.

I have the Reebok Crossfit Lifter 2.0 and the Metcons.

I wear the Metcons as my daily shoe. They’re comfy, but not near as rigid as I’d like. The Reeboks are the most solid shoe I have owned. They feel glued to the floor. I’ve had them for a year and you’d never know.

I still prefer to lift in slippers tho

Love the asics onitsuka tiger mexico 66, had to order online, hard to find in stores.

Reebok crossfit shoes(high tops) are awesome and I know a lot of people who like the Metal deadlift shoes too. Both are great options.
