Well I was feeling pretty good about my DL until reading all of these posts. Some of you guys are animals.
I’ve really just started focusing on deadlifts the past few months. I finally hit 400 lbs last Thursday at a bodyweight of 200 lbs. I’d like to hit 500+ by next year.

I’d like to see this. Also, we don’t have to have people qualifying it with pause, equipted or double denim. Anyone want to post and I’ll run stats in about a month. By the way, what’s the most anyones every gotten on the deadlift from equiptment?

did everybody miss this. he did not say he wanted things qualified. in otherwords, if you post a pr deadlift, we are to assume it is the best you could do or was willing to do regardless. hell, i could post i have done 300 barefoot on a greased stability ball, so of course with a suit, belt, and off the floor i could beat(insert the curent best deadlift posted here), LOL. just post your f-ing numbers.

I would speculate that most people responding to this thread are either relatively strong or have relatively good deadlifts. I bet the average would be lower if more a representative (randomly chosen) sample was taken from T-Nation members. Just a thought.[/quote]
Or adding 10-20-25% to their actual lifts.
